Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Menu and setup guide

This is a menu guide for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.
I will be using Playstation terms for inputs.
I am describing the setup screen from memory, as I can't check it over again.

setup

When you start the game you will get a few pop ups. Press X to continue and do that until it doesn't let you. Hold square for a bit to continue the prompts. Do that for a little until you can't. Go one right and then X, do that a few times until you get to a tutorial. If you want to do it go ahead, but you can skip it by pressing the options button and going one down.
You will then get a cut scene and a song will play. You can skip that by holding square.

Main menu

The main menu is navigated by using left and right errows to access the main options and up or down to access options related to it.

Episode and custom battle

First up we have epesode battles. Here you can play through 8 different character stories. There are also what-if's along the way, time to get excited. One down is custom battles. Here you can play battles people have created, some pre-made one's or make your own.

battles

One right will take you to the battle menu. First option is battle, second is super training, and the last one is world tournament. The menus rap, so be careful what you do with the de-pad. Clicking on battle you can select either online or one down for offline. I will make a guide for online soon. If you go offline you can select a few options. First up is player VS CPU, one down is CPU VS CPU, and last one is local PVP.
Selecting Super training will give you two options, either let Piccolo help you with tutorials and stuff or do free-training by going one down.
The Tournament menu will let you select either online tournaments or offline. When selecting offline you'll get a list of tournaments to choose. You have:

  • Create Tournament

  • World Tournament

  • Cell Games

  • Other World Tournament

  • Tournament of Destroyers

  • Tournament of Power

  • Yamcha Games

Missions

One right from battle menu is the missions menu, here you have two options. ZenO's Orders and Whis's Stamp Book.
Zeno's orders lets you view missions that you can complete whenever you feel like it. It's basically a list of tasks you can do in a fight. He can reward you Dragon Balls which you can use to summen Shanron. Whis's Stamp Book is as far as I understand it the same, but for whis.

Shop/customize

One right from missions is the shop/customize menu. First option is shop and customize. Selecting it gives you two options, this one is left and right for some reason. First one is shop. Here you can buy characters, outfits, background music and more. One right from shop is customize. Here you can select outfits, items and other things for your characters.
One down from shop and customize is player card. Here you can view and edit your player card. Your player card is public.

Gallery

Next up is the Gallery menu. First option is Encyclopedia. Here you can read information about different characters. Pressing square on a character will have Bulma, chichi and Videl talk about them.
Next one is My Data. Here you can view current player level, titles and more.
Last one here is Theater. Here you can view game cut scenes, battle replays and listen to music.

Summon

Last menu is the summon menu. Here you can summon different dragons. You will need all 7 dragon balls in order to make a wish. First option is Shenron. You can summon him using normal Dragon balls. Next one is Porunga. He's the dragon from planet Namik. Last one is Super Shenron. You will need to collect the super dragon balls for that one.
And that's everything. I hope you find this guide helpful and if you want me to cover more things, let me know.
