A blind gamers guide to the Evercade, a modern retro cartridge console
A blind gamer's guide to the Evercade: a Modern retro portable console
Introduction:
Hello, and welcome to my guide on the Evercade, a modern retro portable console for game collectors who want a break from the new way of gaming! While we're all still waiting for a dedicated audiogaming portable, I thought it would be interesting to look at something fresh that capture what made old school games so approachable to begin with. Enter the Evercade, a cartridge-based portable device by Blaze Entertainment. Setup is completely hassle free, with no complicated menus to sort through, or required sighted assistance, and each cartridge is licensed and contains a collection of games from high-profile and indi developers. This means that when you purchase one of these reasonably priced collection cartridges, you legally own a physical copy of the games on it, and the game developers get something from your purchase. In this article, I will give an in-depth description of the Evercade as it comes within the premium package, and what it does, why it may be worth considering, how to use it, provide a link to what's available to play as well as discuss some collections containing playable games, and conclude with my final thoughts on the device. All prices within this article are listed in US Dollars. If you already have an Evercade and are just looking for some playable games, feel free to skip ahead to the "What's Available to Play" section of this guide. Everyone else, stick around as we take a closer look at the system and learn what it's all about!
What Is The Evercade?
In early 2020, a lot of YouTube gaming content creators started getting the console to preview for their audiences, and their reactions were generally positive. You can search for them and still find those previews today. Not long after, The Evercade was released to the public in two variants, which you can find online. The first is the Starter Pack which goes for 80 US dollars. The package comes with the unit, a micro USB charging cable, and one cartridge, which is Atari Collection 1. The second, called the Premium Pack, which goes for 100 US dollars is similar, but comes with two additional cartridges, Data East Collection 1, and Interplay Collection 1 for a total of 3 cartridges. In addition to these, there were 7 other collections available for purchase at launch, with another 10 that came after as of this writing, each of which contained from 6 to 20 8-bit and 16-bit games, and soon, 32-bit games, all of which cost 20 dollars.
Many of the collection contained multi-player games. Although the Evercade portable does not support multi-player, the console has been enough of a success that a home console version called the Evercade Vs is being developed and will be available to purchase in November of 2021. That one will support up to 4 players at a time, will accept Evercade portables as controllers in addition to its own and other third-party controllers, will accept all but 2 of the cartridges that have already been released, so multi-player support will work on day 1 upon its launch. The developers have also stated that they are going to work on making the Evercade VS work with the adaptive Xbox controller, so they are aware of and taking into consideration gamers with disabilities. Reports indicate that similarly to the portable, there will be multiple variants of the home console to purchase, starting at 100 US dollars, with each containing a cartridge not yet on the market. Additionally, the trailer for the Evercade VS hints that arcade games will soon be coming to the Evercade. You will be able to place preorders starting on the 28th of May, 2021, and the slated launch of the Evercade VS console is on the 3rd of November, 2021.
The version of the Evercade portable that I got was the Premium Pack. I chose this version because there were playable games on both the interplay and Data East collections. I'll get into more on that later, but, suffice it to say for now that the simplicity of retro games makes them easier for us to play, which means that there will likely be some games on the Atari collection such as Asteroids, pinball and Centipede which we can enjoy. In addition, the Evercade has a very easy to use save-state system which makes otherwise unplayable games playable, and I will also explain how that works later on. For now, I will describe the package I got and what it contains. Afterwards, I will go over the Evercade itself and what it feels like, as well as briefly touch on the cartridge and the case that houses it.
The box of the premium pack is a flat rectangle with an exterior sleeve. Once the shrink wrap and sleeves are unsealed and removed, you can use the flap on the front underside of the box to open it outwards towards you, and up so that the box's flap rests away from you on the back side. Within, you will find a booklet which contains brief instructions in multiple languages on how to operate the Evercade. Under that are two shrink-wrapped clamshell designed game cases that each hold a cartridge as well as a full-colored manual for the cartridge that tells a little bit about the game company which the cartridge represents, and describes a little bit about each of the games on the cartridge. Beneath those, sitting in a plastic cradle is the Evercade itself, which is about the length, width and height of a PSP, which I will describe in further detail shortly. If you remove that cradle, there is another one beneath it that holds the final game in the package, as well as a micro USB charging cable.
That's everything that comes in the premium pack. Let us now look at the Evercade unit. It is rectangular in shape and held in landscape mode. The sides run exactly perpendicular to the top and bottom but have rounded corners. The underside is similarly rounded all along the edges so that it rests comfortably against your hands without any sharp edges or corners as you hold it. The unit has a 4.3 inch horizontal display, with a circular-based d-pad on the left, under which is the rectangular menu button. To the right of the screen are 4 x-box/dreamcast style face buttons placed similarly to the arrows with a on bottom, x to the middle left, y on top, and b on the middle right. Under those are the select and start rectangular buttons in order from left to right. The menu, select and start buttons are all placed horizontally and align with one another. Beneath those are 3 diagonal slits on each side at the bottom corners of the unit for the stereo speakers.
Around the edge of the unit, starting from the top left is the L button, to the right of that is the on/off switch. Right of that is the cartridge slot. It is rectangular in size and is an opened gap that stretches about an inch across, an half way down the underside of the unit when empty. An inserted cartridge will fill in that gap and mesh perfectly with the underside and top back edge of the unit. To the right of the cartridge slot is a mini HDMI port which you can use to connect the Evercade to a television. To the right of that is the r button. There is nothing on either the left or right edges of the unit. However, moving to the bottom edge along the right corner you will find the micro USB port. To the left of that after a slight inward curve, is a 3.5mm headphone jack. Left of that is an outward curve which mirrors the one on the other side of the jack, and beyond that are the rectangular horizontally placed volume up and volume down buttons from right to left. If you turn the unit around so that the back side is facing you, under the cartridge slot you will find embossed letters which spell out EVERCADE. Under that is some additional text that says "Blaze Entertainment" as well as some other stuff.
Thus concludes my description of the Evercade and everything you get in the premium pack. It feels really nice in the hand, with it not being very heavy at all to hold for long periods, of time. It is admittedly a little bulky, and the l and r bumpers are a tad sensitive for my long piano accustomed fingers, but the transparent face buttons feel nice, have a decent travel and are of a good size. I've heard other reviewers say that the d-pad is similar to that of some Sega 16-bit and 32-bit controllers, but I've never owned them so I don't know. Regardless, it works better than I had expected it to, even feels nice for fighting games that want you to do specific directional inputs. There are no creaking parts, so the unit doesn't feel cheap at all for as light as it is. Honestly the underside of my 2ds xl had thinner plastic than this thing, so I'm really impressed with the build quality of the Evercade and quite like it. The speakers are a little small and lack base, but serviceable. If you've ever held a PSP fat, that's what it feels like in the hand, just a tad lighter.
What Makes The Evercade Worth Having?
We live in an age where game distribution and acquisition are mostly done digitally. Even for physical games, the disk or cart that holds it only contains either part of the data, or a game that needs to be patched later on due to unsquashed bugs. Additionally, DLC and a live service full of updates and monetization’ hinder the experiences of someone who's just looking to pop in a game and have it ready to play without any further setup or need to shell out extra money for pieces of a game which they have already purchased. Unfortunately, this means that when a game or console are no longer supported, they lose partial functionality when their online service is taken offline, or are rendered useless when a console can no longer connect to the internet to reach the server in order to verify the license needed to play it. Already, I have had this happen with a couple of the minis that I have purchased off the psn that could only be downloaded directly to either the PSP or ps3, but the tech is too new for the PSP to make use of, and setting up the PS3 is a pain right now, so when the battery in my PSP malfunctioned and signed me out of my account, it rendered all of my games useless without modification, and even that couldn't save my minis which are now useless data save for the ones I was able to transfer to the Vita. Furthermore, a game that has only been distributed digitally runs the risk of disappearing forever when it becomes no longer available to purchase. I'm sure that recent events have brought this to the attention to many game collectors and people who may have missed out on something that they heard of but never had the opportunity to try out.
That's where the Evercade comes into play. It addresses all of the issues outlined above, and also provides an affordable alternative for people who want to collect and legally own games that they can play, without having to shell out hundreds and thousands of dollars on obscure consoles and individual games. Due to the simple nature of the Evercade User Interface, it is extremely easy for someone without sighted assistance to use, and at its price range, is totally affordable which solves the problem I was having while I was on the market for a third-party portable retro console that looked, sounded and played well. Everything else I looked at either preloaded their roms in such a numerous amount in so many folders to sort through in a silent menu, or provided the bare minimum, leaving you to update the firmware, acquire the roms yourself and figure out how to put them in addition to seeking sighted assistance to get some kind of functional screen reader up and running.
When I saw an early preview of the Evercade and heard that chirp as the previewer was sorting through the games in the out of game menu, I knew instantly that this was what I wanted to have in the near future. This was at least a year before my PSP accident, and before Sony made the announcement to discontinue the PS3 and PS Vita online stores which they later reversed. Those experiences have only served to fuel my desire for one of these for the sake of preservation, collection, and so that I could give developers their due, without having to resort to piracy in order to enjoy their games. It also gives me an opportunity to own something that I never got to play as a kid. Some retro gamers reading this article will know that we didn't have a lot of money to spend on every new release, and many of us were stuck with 1 console per generation, which meant that we probably had to go to a friend's house to get to experience what was available on other hardware at the time. Thus, I saved up what I could so I could be a part of the Evercade experience, and now it is here for me to present to you all, so I do hope you find this article informative in case you are into retro gaming and want to relive those old days again.
How to Use the Evercade:
The instructions are really quite brief, though the booklet is deceptively thick because they are written in multiple languages. Of important notes are the cautions to avoid letting the Evercade run down to 0 percent, to not let it charge for over 12 hours, and to dispose of it responsibly when you're absolutely done with it. The battery indicator for the built-in 4 to 5 hour rechargeable battery is supposed to be displayed on one of the top corners of the screen while in one of the menus, but I haven't had much luck picking it up with the text-reading software on my phone. Speaking of the menus, they are really quite simple, though a future firmware update will add more options to it and bring it up to par with the Evercade VS when it is released, but I do not expect it to complicate things when it comes to finding games to play. I will update the article on how to update the firmware and the new options made available when it is finally release. There is nothing to do if you turn on the unit without a cartridge. It'll just ask you on screen to insert a cartridge after playing the audio and visual Evercade startup sequence.
Turning on the unit with a cartridge inserted will take you straight to a list of games that you can navigate from left to right with the arrows after the boot sequence. The menu does wrap around, but you will always be taken to the first game on the list when you turn on the system, and exiting a game will leave you right on the what you were just playing. While on a game in the list, you will be shown the game name, year of release, and the game's genre. There is a chirp for every button press performed in the menu and submenus of this portion of the UI. Even the volume keys will give a chirp to show the volume level, which I thought was pretty cool. In both the out of game menu, and the in-game menu, the A button acts as the confirmation key. If you press the menu button while here, you will be given some options to set the display size as well as the option to change the language, though more options will probably appear here in a future update.
Pressing the A button while on a game will launch it straightaway. Pressing the menu button, or start and select while in a game will bring up the in-game menu. This is a vertical menu, while totally quiet, thankfully does not wrap so is fairly easy to figure out. In order from top to bottom the options are, resume game, select save slot, save state, load state, settings, and quit. In Settings, you can set the screen size and change button arrangement for some games among other things. I will update the article when I've explored it some more. You have a ton of save slots so don't worry about making multiple saves. Slot 1 is your default, so pressing A on save state will instantly save your game and resume gameplay. Because the curser does not reset when you return to the in-game menu, you can simply press down to reach Load State after opening it up, then pressing A will load your save for the current slot and resume gameplay. If you love abusing save states to cheese your way, through a difficult game, this method makes it incredibly easy to do so. That's all there is to navigating around and within games. It's really quite simple compared to the instructions I wrote for the previous console. The rest depends on how familiar you are with whatever you’re playing.
What's Available to Play, and how do they play?
The Evercade was designed to play retro games up to the 32-bit generation. In addition to rereleasing old games that are hard to find and obscure hidden gems whose cost may have gone up over the years at an affordable price, the developers have expressed a desire to make retro-inspired games created in the modern day available to play on their platform as well, and so they have. In this section, I will provide a link to a webpage with all of the available collections to purchase, as well as each game that is available for that collection. You can also use that page to download pdf manuals for some of the games within each collections. There are various YouTube channels dedicated to previewing and reviewing the content of Evercade cartridges as they are released, so I encourage you to check those out for further general information on each collection. As promised, Here is where you can find a list of most of the collections, its games and many pdf manual scans.
I still only have the first Interplay, Atari and Data East collections and have spent a decent amount of time with each. Audio Volume seems to vary across cartridges, with the Interplay one being a little low, Data East being somewhere in the middle and Atari being the loudest. In the Atari collection, start seems to be the Reset switch and Select seems to be the mode select switch for 2600 games. For NES games, b is a and a is b, while x is turbo b and y is turbo a. Genesis/megadrive games seem to vary in buttons, while snes button layouts are as you would expect for a snes controller, with a as b, b as a, x as y, y as x, and the L/R bumpers representing their snes L/R counterparts. I've owned or played several of the games across all 3 compilations. Most of the games in the Atari collection 1 are also on Atari Flashback classics for ps4 xbox1, Vita and Switch.
I used to own the Snes version of Clay Fighter on the Interplay Collection, but gave it to a friend who promised to play the entirety of one of Beethoven's songs during a talent show, so I was happy to have it back in this collection, and it still plays as well as I remember. For as much crap as people gave Clay Fighter on the Snes, I still thought it was ok, lots of memorable characters with personalities, and the Snes version had such a cheesy but cool voiced theme song as its intro. When I was still in college, a buddy of mine and I took my brother out to a local Nickel City, and among the many arcades, some of which were free to play, I walked up to a random arcade with a 6-buttn fighter layout similar to Street Fighter not knowing what it was. I pressed Start and had a solid session with Fighter's History. Finally, after all these years, I have my own copy of the snes version of the game within the Data East collection, along with another nes game I used to own but never beat, which was Bad Dudes.
The data East collection also includes one of the 16-bit versions of Side Pocket, whose gameboy counterpart I demoed for the forum in late 2020. Having never played the Evercade version before, I'm happy to have discovered it and will likely come back to it when I feel like shooting a few random rounds of pool. This ties in with what makes this platform so appealing to me. I love compilations, and I love discovering things I've never known about. There are still games I need to investigate further within the compilations I have, and each game's cheap 20 dollar price tag makes them perfect for an impulse buy. There are likely many other games within the various collections that some of you may have grown up with. Right, off the bat, I can recommend the Technos Collection 1, which has the NES version of Renegade, Double Dragon 1 and 2, and Super Double Dragon on the Snes. Namco Museum Collection 2 has both Splatterhouse 2 and 3, which makes it worth owning for me.
I also want to try out the Mega Cat Studios collection 1, since it has some promisingly playable games, and I look forward to seeing what other compilations Blaze Entertainment pumps out. If arcade games are in fact coming to the platform, and if the Evercade can run 32-bit games well, that makes me all the more excited to see what these guys have in stored. Personally, I would love to see a collection of Capcom and SNK games, including a Neo Geo Pocket collection of sorts. Whatever else is coming, Blaze Entertainment is off to a banger of a start, with most of the games playing as they should. Indeed as I was playing, there was no input lag whatsoever, and really the only games that suffered were the old 2600 games that used a dial controller. Otherwise, everything else plays amazingly, and I commend them for their effort.
Conclusion:
I hope that this article is informative for those looking to revisit retro gaming in the near future. If you are interested in buying, some retailers in Europe and North America do carry the Evercade, and they ship worldwide if you decide to buy it online. I got mine off of Amazon, and will likely purchase additional cartridges the same way. A carrying case for the Evercade is also available for as much as a cartridge costs if you have a good collection going and need a place to store your stuff. That brings me to the end of my presentation. Thank you for reading all the way through. Should you have any questions or comments on the console or collections, feel free to shoot me a message via the PM link at the end of this article. Alternatively, Follow this link which will take you to a thread where we can discuss the console publicly among the community so that those interested can congregate and collect data on what all we can play. Within that thread is one of the video reviews I spoke of earlier for the console if you want an audio and video demonstration. This is Kenshira The Trinity, signing, off!
Steam: Fixing Language Settings
For anyone who encountered the problem that I had after installing Steam, where the client opens in Chinese even though English was selected in the installer, I am going to give instructions on how to fix this.
THE PROBLEM
When installing Steam, you choose your language in the installer just like you do with any other program, and you proceed. In my case, this was "English." However, after install, upon logging in, Steam displays everything in Chinese, or a mix of English and Chinese. Some other users reported languages other than Chinese that weren't the language they had chosen for install
WARNING
The following solution involves adjusting values within the registry editor in Windows. If you are unfamiliar with the registry editor, please proceed with caution or get sighted assistance if you need to. Modifying or deleting the wrong keys within the Windows registry editor can permanently corrupt your operating system, forcing you to completely reinstall it.
THE SOLUTION
The first thing you will want to do is to make sure that Steam is not running. To do this:
1. Open your task manager by pressing control plus shift plus escape.
2. Make sure that the "processes" tab is the one that's open. To do this, route Jaws to PC, then arrow up until you hear a line with processes and several other tabs. Move to processes, and left click. You may now return to PC cursor navigation.
3. Make sure that the "more details" button is pressed. To do this, tab once. If you hear "more details button," you will want to press this. Otherwise, if you hear, "column header, name sorted," you are good to go and can return to the list of tasks.
4. Now, hit S until you hear "Steam client service (32 bit)." Press alt plus E to kill the task.
5. Make sure that no other Steam tasks are running.
Now that Steam is not running, it's time to adjust the pertinent values in the Windows registry.
1. Open the registry editor. To do this, open a run dialog box by holding the Windows key and pressing R. Next, type "regedit" without the quotes, and press enter.
2. Inside of the registry editor, you will see a tree view. Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VALVE\STEAM
Do not expand the tree view at Steam yet.
2. Tab into the list view, and arrow down to the following:
LANGUAGE REG_SZ SCHINESE (This may be different if you have another language).
3. Press enter to open this key. In the "value data" field, erase what is there and type "english" without the quotes and in all lowercase.
4. Press the OK button.
5. Next, shift tab back up to the tree view. Now, expand the view so that it says "Steam, open", and arrow down until you hear, "steamglobal."
6. Tab back into the list view, and arrow down until you see:
LANGUAGE REG_SZ schinese
(Again, the language you hear might be different, depending on what yours displays as).
7. Once again, open this key by pressing enter, and in the "value data" field, erase what is there and type "english" without the quotes and in all lowercase.
8. Press the OK button.
9. You may now close the registry editor with alt-F4.
Try logging into your Steam client again, and you should notice that the language has been fixed successfully.
CONCLUSION
I hope that this helps those of you having language issues with Steam. If you have any questions, or you need further help, feel free to PM me or drop a post on the forum, and I'll do my best to help you. Happy gaming everyone!

How to upgrade your legacy Mac Pro to big sur
Hi.
Just today I've upgraded my Mac Pro early 2008 to big sur.
Since I don't think there's any guide written specifically for blind people, I thought I'm going to share my experiences and tell you how to do it step by step.
In this guide we'll be using dortania's open core legacy patcher and doing it the way I did it on my Mac Pro 3,1, all though the steps should be mostly the same with the Mac Pro 4,1, and the Mac Pro 5,1.
There is one issue with the Mac Pro 5,1 that doesn't allow you to install big sur 11.3, so un til a patch is found I wouldn't recommend installing 11.3 on a 5,1, 11.3.1 works just fine on my 3,1 though.
I did a clean install on my 3,1, and if you want the same experience as me I'd recommend backing up your data and doing that as well. ?If you're using dosdude's patcher, bigmac, or any other patcher with the APFS rom patcher installed, you *don't* want to upgrade, clean install would be necessary un less you want stupid problems you could have easily avoided.
So, let's get started!
Make sure you have a 16GB or more USB stick at hand, we'll be using that to store the big sur installer and a temporary copy of open core.
First of all, open terminal and run this script
[ ! -d ~/macOS-installer/ ] && mkdir ~/macOS-installer; cd ~/macOS-installer; [ ! -f ~/macOS-installer/installinstallmacos.py ] && curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/munki … lmacos.py; sudo python installinstallmacos.py
You should be presented with a list of MacOS installers.
I personally went with 11.2.1, just to be safe.
While the download is in progress, make sure to format your USB stick as HFS+ with the GPT partition table.
Once the download completes, open the dmg located in ~/MacOS installer, and copy the install macOS app to your applications folder.
Right click on the installer application, choose show package contents, and copy contents/resources/createinstallmedia to your clipboard.
Go back to terminal, and paste the file there. It should have layed out the exact path to the file in the shell.
At the end make sure to put a space after createinstallmedia and type --volume /volumes/yourusb, you can also copy your usb stick from the finder computer window and paste it after typing --volume, look at the apple support article on createinstallmedia for a better explanation.
After the stick is bootable, download Dortania's open core legacy patcher from
https://nightly.link/dortania/OpenCore- … er.app.zip
Run the downloaded application, it should open a terminal window.
Don't mess with the options for now, if you're on your target machine press 1 to build open core, if not press the change model option and type in your target mac's model identifier after which press 1 to build.
After the build press 2 to install open core.
Choose your USB stick in the drive selector and the EFI partition after that.
Once the installation is complete, shut down your target Mac, plug in the USB stick, and hold option whilst pressing the power button to open the boot picker.
In the boot picker, press left and enter to boot from EFI boot.
Here is the tricky part, telling open core to boot from your installer USB instead of your main drive.
You can either try hitting right and enter, left and enter, or maybe just enter and you may be lucky, but if you don't want to go the hit and miss route you can ask a sighted person for help or use seeing AI/be my eyes.
Wait a few minutes and press cmd+F5 to start VoiceOver.
If you hear "VoiceOver on language chooser" well done, you booted in to the installer!
Wait for the recovery window to appear.
Once that happens, go to disk utility and format your disk.
Then press reinstall MacOS and install as normal.
Once your Mac reboots and you hear the chime, rapidly press escape to open open core's boot picker, and in my case I had to press down and enter to boot from my SSD, it took me quite a while to figure out what to do on that step so if that doesn't work just try other methods like just waiting for it to boot and see where it boots or different key combinations like left and enter.
I went away for a while when I did it so I didn't exactly track progress but when I booted in to the drive I had the setup assistant waiting for me, you may get installer faze2.
Just try starting voice over and see where you are.
Once your Mac reboots again, try doing the same tricky stuff and if you did it correctly, you should be at the setup assistant! Done! Big Sur installed!
A few post install things you'll probably want to do is install open core on your main SSD/HDD with your OS and tweak settings to your liking like disabling OC's build in boot picker or changing your smbios spoofing to advanced which makes Big Sur think your Mac Pro is a 7,1.
Review of Hyperkin's Supaboy portable and home video game console
Have you ever wanted to take your home video game console with you on the go? Well now that is possible with the Supaboy from Hyperkin.
This console is for those of us who grew up in the nineties with Super Nintendo and Super Famacom video game console. Also this give younger generation of gamers the opportunity to enjoy retro gaming at it's finest with the Supaboy from Hyperkin.
Hyperkin's Supaboy will play both Super Nintendo and Super Famacom cartridges. Also the console will play the different flash cartridges for both Super Nintendo and Super Famacom.
Here is a description of what the Supaboy looks like. The back of the Supaboy has a door that has a screw inti that contain a rechargeable battery.
The battery last up to ten hours. It takes two to four hours to fully charge.
On top the the Supaboy from left to right is the following items. On the left shoulder is the L button. The next item that you come to is the micro usb charging port.
Then it's the charging light indicator. If light is red the Supaboy is charging.
If the light is green the Supaboy is fully charge. After the light is the region switch. If the switch is to the right then you can play games from the PAL region.
This would be all of the Super Famacom games. If the switch is to the left then you can play games from the NTSC region.
This would be all of the Super Nintendo games.
Next is the power switch. To the left the Supaboy is off. To the right the Supaboy is on.
Next is the audio video composite port. The audio video composite cord comes with the Supaboy.
The audio video composite allows you to play the Supaboy on your tv. Next on the right shoulder is the R button.
Also on the top of the Supaboy behind all of the items on the console is a cartridge slot. The Supaboy is design so that if you bump or jerk or shake the console hard it will not cause your game to freeze or lock up like it did on the original Super Nintendo and Super Famacom.

There are five brightness settings. On the bottom right towards the back is a hole where the wrist band goes that comes with the Supaboy.
The Supaboy is light and comfortable when holding the console. The current color of the console is black with the buttons being gold.
It comes with a soft bag to carry the console in when you are on the go while not playing it.
The Supaboy cost a hundred dollars. You can order it from hyperkin.com or call Hyperkin at 9093978788
Here is my thoughts on the Supaboy. I have had mine since 2018. I carry mine every where I go.
The sound is good although it could be a little bit lounder when using the built in speakers. It plays games great.
When using a flash cartridge it plays the games on there great. I would suggest any gamer to purchase one.
When using Super Nintendo and Super Famacom accessories it plays great with them.
To tell you the truth The Supaboy from Hyperkin is the best Super Nintendo and Super Famacom console that I have own and played. The button don't stick.
Even if you are doing some hard button mashing. I play my Supaboy more then I play the Xbox series.
That is no joke or lie.
I Hope you will consider getting you the Supaboy from Hyperkin.
BK2 walkthrough
Note: this isn't my walkthrough. I found it, realised that several weapons and other assorted info was missing, and edited it. Enjoy.
Mata's BK2 walkthrough
If you guys think tis should be in articles room then feel free to move.
Been wanting to do this for quite a while, and just finished it today. I hope this gives you clearer details and strategies than the one Boy wrote back then, since many people complained they had trouble with that walkthrough.

1. Introduction
Bokurano Daibouken 2 is a sequel to Bokurano Daibouken 1. You play as the same character who has lived peacefully 3 years ever since the event in BK1 ended, with his 5 fello friends, two of whom were his former antagonists. But his peace will soon be interupted, as one morning, while relaxing and planning for some daily fun, some bully boys (from the previous game) break in his house, with no objective for food but for the character himself. After cleaning up the mess, he sets out to find out the cause.
This walkthrough is written to help first time players through. If you are experienced and all you want are secrets, go to the specific section of the file for that.
1.1 Requirements and installation
Usually when you download the setup file and open it, the installation will prompt you to browse the folder destination to install the game. The default is C:\nyanchangames\something in Japanese. If you want your own folder for the game, you can set it here. But don't, ever, forget to provide a name for it. If you extract in a general folder, it will just dump scattered bunch of folders and files in there. You need a specific folder for all of them to stay in one place, otherwise good luck trying to find them all.
1.2 Setting up the translation
All you need are Nvda and Jgt translation addon by ian reed.
If you haven't grabbed and install Nvda, do it,, for it is a must if you prefer to play Japanese games in a long run. Grab Jgt too and make and account to go with it if you haven't.
You get pretty much everything done now. Steps on how to use Jgt can be found in its own download page. Don't forget to enable translation and copy to clipboard (ctrl+shift+h and ctrl+shift+y) before you play. You can't blame me if you don't and no translation comes out, haha.
Some items and menues are translated. Press E while the logo sound is playing or set the preferences language output to English should apply the translation for you. Stories aren't translated, though.
2. The basics.
2.1 Controls
Everything is actually explained in the tutorial section of the game, but I'm going to cover all here again.
up, jump.
Left and right, walk. Press and hold control+a corresponding direction to run.
space or x, weapon action.
Enter, interactions and item actions.
D, object viewer (tells you where is what).
1 and 2 (top row), switch hands for quick weapon access.
2.2 Menues and shortcuts
All menues are self-explanatory, so I'll only list specific menues with shortcuts here.
Note that these shortcuts work only while you're in a stage.
Inventory (all usable items go here), access in your character submenu (press tab and scroll) or press i.
Collection items (just collections, nothing much here), access in your submenu or press c.
Weapons, access in your submenu or press w. You can set your prefered weapons for quick acccess in your submenu as well.
3. walkthrough
Before we begin, let it be clear here that except the secrets section of this walkthrough that contains stuff I really consider secret, I'm going to cover weapons and items you can get along your journey stage by stage so if you follow this walkthrough, you won't miss all the useful thing.
Stg0
This is just the tutorial that introduces you to the basics of the game. Not much here. You'll just get a ball collection item at stage 0.2 and gain access to the item warehouse where you can store items in. The warehouse is very useful though.
stg1
Time for the unnecessary ruckus.
stg1.1 Marauder
Kill only bullies, don't kill slime. It's summoned by Yamijin to help you.
stg1.2
Poor character gets worked up here. Now he needs to clean the mess he made (by testing the hammer in stage 1.1). Grab all broken dish pieces and run to throw them at the bin to the left. This is actually a movement test stage so you get use to interacting with items and stuff.
stg1.3
Bah, another work for the character. Grab 6 dishes from the kitchen to the left one by one and drop each on the table. 6 dishes for 6 people. All served, all done.
stg1.4
The bullies are at it again. Now there're one big slime and one grand cruiser to destroy. You get your mighty hammer back though, and Yamijin has done a nice job moddifying your pachingo sling. You can hold space to rapidfire range weapons now, unlike in bk1.
With weapons on hand, give them a good beating. The slime can generate water wave, be careful. The cruiser is troublesome when you only get too close. I can pretty much land 3 hammers before it can do anything. Use slime waves to hit the cruiser to your advantage.
stg2
stg2.1
Relaxing walking, uh not really. But at least you get pachingo ammoes along the way. Grab it, go to the end of the stage and open the house door there. Enemies are easy. Just some crappy slimes and low rank bullies here. The bullies take 4 hits from your hammer, slimes take 1. Beware though, the bullies can slash you.
Stg2.2
Aww, poor housekeeper's door got bursted open by this..um what? Hord of slimes? There are 30 slimes for you to crush now. Run and hammer away. Don't stay in one place or they'll get you before you get them. All 30 down, all gold picked and you're done. You can use this stage as a low level gold grinding spot. 30 gold guaranteed. All slimes take one hit. Easy, right?
stg2.3
Walk walk walk, walk to another house. And again, the road is full of nasties. Well not really nasty since they're quite weak, but don't let them swarm you. Pick whatever you can, kill whatever you must, and get to the house. Your objective of this stage is the house though, not the enimies.
stg2.4
Walk again, to this poor house at the end. And look who're back? Big slimes again! This time more than one. Don't waste your time killing here. Get to the end and that's when the real fight begin. You will encounter a new enemy here. Ultra bullies have the same attack as normal bullies, but take more hit to defeat, +they can use ground punch when you're like two steps close to them. Don't get hit, or your life will pretty much go bye bye. Use their hit to your advantage. Have them crush slimes and weaklings for you. Kill them however you want, just beware their attacks. And you get gold+...wait what? Chip? Where do these chips come from?
Stg2 shop
Big rice balls here will be very useful in your later journey, keep in mind. Shortswords and super hammer are must if you want to proceed. They make it way easier for you to destroy a single annoyance that is going to come.
stg3
Uh huh, curious character you are, I'd say. But it's about you so I probably can't blame. Onward to search for the origin of those chips then.
Stg3.1
If you play bk1, you'll remember this park where you first met Yamijin, where the children played and he came out of nowhere, killed all but one, of whom he kidnapped to his fake lab. The park was peaceful ever since you helped the kid out of that lab, but not anymore.
Mysterious silence, no sound of birds, and then...bleeeeeem! The character quickly locates the source of the sound, following Yamijin's remote guidance.
New enemy! Remember these annoying piece of crap from now on. They are by far what make the worst out of you each stage you go. The generator!
They don't do anything, just sit there like a dummy. What they can and will do is, however, worse than you may think. If you have trouble beating slimes and bullies, this single generator in the park here generates all of them, big, small, low rank, ultra. All you need is to beat the stupid thing so it can stop generating them, and then beat them. But it's not easy since you'll be followed and hit most of the time. Buy at least a sword, and don't stay in one place unless you must and are sure the enemies are far enough. Slash the generator to pieces. If you have a super hammer, use it. When the generator is gone, kill all enemies and grab everything. Tough stuff huh.
stg3.2
This generator again. This time you're easier to get swarmed by enemies from the whole stage. Crush whatever you can along the way, but don't waste your time killing. All you need is the generator at the very end of the stage. You need to get there and smash it to pieces before it generates any more annoying things to interupt your way.
stg3.3
This stage is troublesome. There's a generator right at the start to destroy, and there are bats to trouble you on the sky. Ready your pachingo if you can. Destroy the generator and all enemies generated by it.
stg3.4
Oo, two generators! As hard as it may sound, if you have a super hammer, crush the generated enemies and the generator itself. Pachingo or sword for bats, and a big rice ball or two. You'll have easier time. Destroy the one at the beginning. Press a switch at the middle of the stage to release slimes out, don't, kill, run. There's the other generator to destroy at the end of the stage. Smash it and all the enemies, including those slimes you release, and there you got it.
Aww, look at this cute character missing Yamijin's laugh. His sense of friendship is seriously admirable. Don't we all miss that too? It's the legendary laughter of the series.
Stg3 shop
Woo, Yamijin's lab theme! I miss this theme so much from BK!. Look at what he has to offer.
The longsword is worth getting, as it doubles your range. The heavy blade is very useful in stage 5 on, so get. the double blades does as much damage as the longsword hit twice, but not as much as heavy blade. Still kinda worth getting though if you plan to killl faster. double blades and heavy blade combo is very useful in stage 6.
There is a strategy to do with heavy blade. If there are two enimies in the same room, you'll hit them at once. If there's an enimy right behind what you hit, the one you hit will fly back and crash on them, damaging both. If you don't believe, go do it to dragons in 4.2, or robots in 6.1.
Stg4
To arkhayer city we go.
Stg4.1
Clear the road. Wipe out every enemy here. Pick up everything. If you bring a longsword here, it rocks. There's also a new dragon enemy that can crush you when you get too close. Beware.
Stg4.2
While talking to people...
What? Where did these dragon come from? Well you have to help people wipe them now. A good combination of longsword+heavy blade works here.
Stg4.3
Investigate. Talk to people and...wait what? There's a police out of nowhere shooting people? What kind of police is this?
stg4.4
And he drops you in a room with a single robot here. All you need to do is destroy this surveillance robot. Heavy blade usually rocks these bots, especially here when there'ss only one. If you haven't, go buy that blade and come back to knock it back two step, wait for it to come, knock again, repeat. Don't forget to jump when it fires a rocket. Don't get too close or it'll chop you with it's crappy blade. Well not crappy. One slice takes quite a good health from you. Still better than getting hit by rockets though imo.
Stg5
Look at what the dam police has done to you. Now he throws you in jail! What did you do wrong? Killed those bullies?
Stg5.1
A lot of surveillance robots here. But fear not, they can't fire rockets at you. Slice with heavy blade and switch to sword when they're far away. You'll be alright. You don't even need to fear to be swarmed. They're slow, and you can pretty much knock them away or kill them before they do so if you use that blade. If you somehow get swarmed, which you may eventually because of their numbers, jump to some empty spot, slice with sword from a far, blade again when they get close. You'll wipe them in less than two minutes. Time to break out of this stupid room the fake police locked you in.
Stg5.2
Clever, you think these bots have keys for you to get out of here? They actually do. So kill these bots and get them. Beware though, these bots can fling iron balls at you. Hurt as hell, I'd say. Three smacks and you're dead.
Stg5.3
Time to...so the police didn't kill people but lock them up with you? Let's help them then. Kill the surveillance robots and unlock every jail cell. These bots shoot iron balls.
Stg5.4
This stage is tricky. Whatever you have that you can destroy, you pretty much need it in this stage. Otherwise you need to have a lot of healing items with you. These people need your help, and they stand right there when the bots walk to them and fire rockets at them. Shield your people with whatever you can, and smash the bots to pieces. There's an item in your inventory that can block rockets. Get familiar with that. You'll have to use it a lot. If any of those you have to save die, it's game over.
stg6
time to break out of this jail.
stg6.1
First of all, robots are going to be a problem if we don't kill them right? So do it. The rocket launching surveillance robots drop big grenades. Time to farm some and have them taste their own medicine.
There is a strategy which works very well when you have a grenade on hand. Trick those bots to come near one another, two or three works, then jump out of their melee range, turn to them and pull the grenade. Boom they go. Sometimes this strategy even gives you more grenade than you've wasted, if more than one you manage to bomb are rocket launching robots. Run this stage like two or three times and you'll have enough grenades to go through the whole stage 6 with ease, unless you decide to be a coward and choose to bomb every of them instead of stand and fight. Don't bomb them unless they come in groups, close to one another. You'll get like three four sweet birds in one shot that way.
Stg6.2
There are a bunch of cells here, with a bunch of patrol bots all over the place. They won't let you help people inside, How cruel. But since the stupid police didn't take your weapon away since he captured you here, you still can and need to do it. Wipe them out and open all the cells.
Stg6.3
This stage has 5 sections you need to go through. Sounds troublesome, but not really.
First, surveillance robots again, all armed with rockets. Trick them to come near one another and group bomb them with grenades. You have the best chance on earth to get like 5 grenades if you're lucky enough to kill them all in one grenade. Don't let them attack your grenades though.
Next, open the door, and kill the bots here. You may be able to group bomb them again, but since some are metal shooter, if they come alone, you can fight them in melee to save grenades. I wish I could do something with these keys. There're too many.
Then, the next room has some kind of well, it says sign, but it's some kind of switch that when you activate, will alarm all bots to come surround you. That's what you want, or else they will be your pain later...because if you don't do, you can't pass, haha. All of them are metal shooters. You may need to waste a grenade here to wipe out like 4 or 5 of them. There are 6.
The next room has nothing besides three bots, one of which drops the key to unlock the next lock you'll encounter. The weird sign in this room is not a sign. It's a keypad and you'll unlock it when you activate. Now if you check your object viewer, you'll see 10 potions at the beginning of the level. You can go grab them all, and in fact you must. Potions restore 300 health, and they're sold in a shop you don't have access yet. You can get 10 here, 10, and you can come back for more whenever you want, except once you manage to spawn abicus. It's like this stage is best for farming items or something.
The last door has a password. There's one bot in the stage that drops the paper containing password to unlock this door. But if you're too lazy to check what it is, it's easier to just remember as "robot". So the password is robot. Don't misspell it, or you'll have to fight like 10 of them, each one can fire rockets and drop big grenades on death, good place to grind big grenades. After the door is a generator that will generate all kind of bots. With your current weapon, you may need to use grenades to help, or else you'll be swarmed and crushed instead.
stg6.4
Talk to all the poor prisoners here to have them follow you. Get them to the door and avoid robots. If the bots fire projectiles and you jump, your people will jump with you. Kill whatever you can along the way, bots though, not people. Once you get them all out of the door, destroy the bots and escape. Sometimes it makes you help two groups of people instead of one, beware. Once you destroy all the bots and help everyone, escape through that door.
You can use stage 4, 5 and 6 shop now. In particular, the stage 5 shop will allow you to sell robot parts for 3 gold a peace when you leave.
stg7.1
Don't bother killing here. Run to the end of the stage and avoid everything you can. Grab pachingo ammoes along the way. once you can't go further, hold right and spam up as fast as possible til you can walk again. Keep doing. You'll eventually get to the forest after like 15 spams or more...
You'll see a lot of previous enimies from bk1, fast slimes, super bullies who can be faster than powerful ones, upgraded grand cruisers that can fire bombs...just all kind of nasties that are useful for farming gold but not for now...run run run!
Stg7.2
Again, run! There are spirit trees here which will crush you with their branches when you get close, and crazy rampaging horses that will run and ram themselves into every single ground enimies they find. In this stage, if you don't have super pachingo, you'll need to use grenades on crows, or else they'll peck you to death. You'll get stuck again like in 7.1 at the end of the stage. All you need to do, this time, is if you hold right and spam up and it doesn't work, change up to down. if it doesn't work again get back like 4 steps from there and spam jump to the right as fast as you can til you get stuck again. Repeat whatever method given and you'll get to the end.
stg7.3
Your destination is the river at 400, 0. Run for your life. If you grab potions from 6.3, it'll be really useful here.
It's not easy to swim in the river. You can't jump, and all you need to do is get through without rocks falling on you. if you're hit by a rock, you're dead. And not only rocks that are troublesome, fish can stir waves of water and spit some kind of water needle to attack you too. Get to the other bank, run for your life through half of the forest and you'll finally be out.
Stg7.4
At the entrance, the poor character finds a group of three man-eating birds (what kind of bird exactly?), and of course all you need to do is fight your way out. The bird won't leave you alone, and there are also loads of animals and such on the ground trying to devour you. Save up some potions, at least 20, from 6.3, as well as 10+ grenades. It's better to have more than you need anyway. Kill those on the ground, try not to get too close to the birds. One swoop attack from them can take around one or two potions to heal before the combo ends. Once you're done, take a deep breath, for stage 8 onward is no longer a piece of pie. (It's already way harder to call a perfectly baked cake anyway, those 7 stages).
Stg8
What? Robots got out of the jail? How the heck?
No time to think, run for your life! Don't forget those robot parts though, the mystery man in stage 5 shop loves them.
You sure can come back and blow up these bots for more later, but of course not now.
stg8.2
Got it, so this stupid generator plays a part. The alarm is loud as hell, but that doesn't stop you from trying to destroy this thing, does it?
Wait what!? there are like 4-5 of them! Well I guess it's not easy anymore...um...good luck then.
Grenades work very good against these two, hint hint.
Stg8.3
This stage has 4 sections:
an empty room
A room with low level generators, two of them (stage 1-4 enimies)
A room with low-level generators, three of them.
A room with low to mid-level generators (stage 1-8), 4 of them. This room is by far the toughest, and can be one of the best place to grind grenades throughout the entire game.
and then an empty room again before the stage ends.
The character finds a computer in this building, and decides to scan the mysterious chips...
And look what just happened!
Stg8.4
Look who's back. It's the worst nightmare of BK1, the death robot! And right now it's even worse than back then. But you're also better. At least these bots don't accelerate like in bk1.
If you grab the killer spear from stage 7 shop, it could be useful against this stupid bot. Otherwise metal blade.
The bot will lag a little when there are a lot of enimies around. Use them to your advantage. (I usually try not to destroy the generators too quickly so I can use those little ones to attack the bot. The bad thing though, is you can be swarmed if you're not fast enough).
The bot can throw bombs (300-ish hp it takes per hit. if you see your hp below 150, use the potions).
It can so do the following: shoot at you, takes 50 60 something hp away i I'm not mistaken. If you get too close , it may slash at you with its laser saber. You'll get one after this stage, don't worry. The saber is rather neat.
There will also be a time when it pauses and rapidfires its stupid gun at you. All you need to do is use your godspeed the hell away from its range, or jump behind and watch it foolishly shoot at nothing. You can use this chance slash and skewers it to bits.
All you need to worry about this bot is bombs. Otherwise you have plenty of way and time to turn it to scraps. This is also a good opertunity for you to run back and farm grenades and everything from 6.3. The bot is immune to grenades though, even if you use grenade launcher.
And then you get...a pistol!
For the sake of your death fate, you can't do anything with it just yet. Or even if you can, please don't. Save your pistol ammoes for later.
Stg9
Back to simplicity...um no, not really.
Stg9.1
Get back home! Run from right to left. Kill all the way, but before you do that...after the sign, that loud ding, 3 steps or something to the right, is a very useful weapon for you. It's a grenade launcher! The ammo used for this weapon is of course the big grenades you keep picking up from those bots, but now you gotta shoot it. You don't need to throw anymore.
And after the first part of the stage is...those birds again, seeking revenge from you. Bring it!
If you haven't grabbed the killer spear, do it. Laser saber from stage 8 shop makes it even way easier.
Stg9.2
Fish gone berserk stage: kill every one of them and pick up all the scales. Spears work super great here.
Stg9.3
It could have been a peaceful walk back home if not because of...what? Grand cruisers?
Yes, that's right! And all you have to do is kill every one of them. Note that this stage is good for grinding gold later on. Spears and saber all the way buddy! And don't forget super pachingo.
Stg9.4
Bullies' revenge! They're coming back for you and your friends! Wipe them out, and prepare for the long, emotional cutseen.
Note: grenades may be of use a lot here.
Stg10
Now your goal is revealed, and in order to do it, you must train, right.
Stg10.1
Gun lessons. Nothing much here.
Stg10.2
Here is when your sky spear is of use. Ufos can't be harmed by ground weapons. Switch to it and skewer them one by one. They drop pistol ammoes.
Stg10.3
Another killing stage. I recommend you have sky spear in one hand and saber or killer spear in the other, for you need to wipe out both robots and ufos here.
Stg10.4
This stage requires a lot of good timing to avoid the megadriver, +if you happen to have a fast weapon that hits hard, it really can come in handy against both the driver and the enemies that spawn later (including the drivers themselves, which are tough). My recommendation is to have all the drivers shoot each other and the other enemies down. You yourself run around the stage, use the shield plates here and there and do some hide and seek among those plates you plant, as well as slashing/stabbing/shooting those enemies at the same time. Take out the ufoes first though. They're annoying. At the end of this stage after you kill the megadriver, who drops a mini pistol, you'll get two soft point ammo and a box gun, another quite useful weapon.
And fact confirmed, Yamijin has two shops!
Stg11
And the journey begins again!
Stg11.1
Oh man, from how the stage looks, don't ever think it's gonna be easy. You'll see why once you progress through it.
Let me give you a hint here. It's the mixture of all the previous enemies in one stage. This stage in particular is a set of easy slimes+bullies, +a huge lot of grand cruiser, perfect for grinding later.
Stg11.2
The path through the forest is no longer safe, all because of...yeah, what you see. Robots, tough bullies and dragons, and even a stupid cruiser. Run like hell if you must. Grind later.
Stg11.3
Another rampaging stage of...of...well let's just say megabirds and much more. Don't take it lightly. There's a secret weapon here.
Stg11.4
This is where hell begins (like it wasn't hell before?). Look at what we got here. Yes you see right, two death bots and a large number of small bots. Now you see what I whine about. Strategy though: Let the bots blast one another pieces by pieces, especially the death ones. Just run around and mash and keep the stupid death bots as your final targets. And don't forget grenades never work against them even if you have the launcher.
Stg12.1
Another problem here. Two generators that generate pretty tough mobs. If you manage to grab the hyper hammer or something heavy, please do, but note that if you use the hyper hammer, it's really going to slow you down.
Stg12.2
Another generator mashing time, but this time, it's 3.
Stg12.3
This stage is the perfect example of "the further you progress, the harder it protests". Another enemy to introduce here to be exact. The gun battery won't move but will attack you on sight. I personally wanna call it mounted gattling cannons, cause it pretty much sounds like one. But whatever it is is no more important than the fact that you have to find a rangy, sneaky way to blast without getting shot. Grenades work best, in my opinion. And beware that they're two generators in this stage, and three batteries to get rid of.
Stg12.4
Let's name whatever in this stage...no, better not. But for sure, there're death bots here along side generators and gun batteries at each of the stage edge. Take the enemies down, but don't get too close to the first 40 squares of the stage, or else you'll be taken down instead. Hint hint, the square where you're placed before the battle begins is close to a set of three batteries to the right. If you don't want them to be so much of an annoyance, blast before the death bot comes or the generators overwhelm you, or both. Be careful though, if you're already turning to the right at the beginning of the stage, stepping just one or two closer is guaranteed to get you scattered.
And look what weapons this stage shop has for sale. See something familiar? That's it, that painful dark sword BK1 players know all too well is Yamijin's weapon if you use melee weapons against him. Now you can have that dark sword, and tell you what, it's very good for the next couple stages ahead! The gun isn't half bad, and the buster lance can be useful in some situations when you're swarmed.
Stg13.1
Another treck on the road to flame town. The only gimic here are mini shooters that can blast you to hell in one or two or three successful combo shots, depends on your hp. If you have a gatling gun or dark sword, this stage is quite good for gold grinding. Buster lance works quite well here to. If you haven't yet got them, try avoiding the shooters. Their combo shots are deadly. I prefer dark sword here over buster lance though, especially for grinding. If you have a chance to, better get accustomed to mini shooters with the best weapon of your capability, because they will be good for gold grinding later, especially after you get the abicus. The toughest enemies in this level, imo, are robots. They don't hit as hard as shooters, but they take forever to kill with dark sword.
If you haven't grabbed the grenade launcher from stage 9.1, here's another chance.
Stg13.2
Another wipeout stage, and this one isn't as easy. I prefer dark sword here.
Stg13.3
Another wipeout stage, meh, and this time it's ufo. But at least you'll get a useful gun that will make your ufo killing life easier. There is another more useful weapon here though, but that's a shushy secret for another time.:)
Stg13.4
Three generators that spawn anything from squishy stage 7 slimes to mega shooters and ufo. Looks like an easy talk eh? Not really. Well it's not as easy as it is annoying. But hey, as a good guy who somehow likes distruction your character seems to be, you have to do it anyway. Dark sword can be useful here, +that shushy weapon you got in 13.3.
The buster blade in stage 13 shop is quite useful, though I prefer dark sword more for its speed.
Stg14.1
Two generators here. Wreck 'em. I suggest dark sword over buster blade. Or if you like slow but effective kind of thing, Buster blade works too. Arrows can be quite useful here too, though I prefer guns+dark sword combination more.
Stg14.2
Generators again, two of them. But this time, they're flying. Don't kill the friendly gun battery until you manage to destroy the generators. battery fire helps you a ton at dealing with Ufos.
Stg14.3
A gun battery? But wait, it doesn't shoot you. It launches laser machines at you. There're increasing numbers of machines each round. Stock up on range ammo, grab the most powerful ground gun you have and have a blast. Even arrows are useful here because of its fire distance.
Stg14.4
Ho, a mix of everything here. Ground generator and sky generator. Whatever. Just blast them to hell. Take advantage of that gun battery if you can. It's not as hard as you may think.
Try pushing the generators into range of the gun battery, then get behind the battery and push it across the stage so it can get at the other generator.
Stage 14 shop sells one of the most useful items in the game. Buy that item detector, press control+i to turn it on and off. For your own sake, don't ever forget to turn it on in any stage you run after this. It helps a lot. The laser machinegun is useful too since it requires no ammo. There'll be more stuff than this, but hey, at least you got this one.
Stg15.1
I can see why people start to hate this stage up to the final stage. We're about to face another great annoyance. It's the pit. Stage 15.1 should teach you how to jump pits and such. Practice with caution.
Stg15.2
If you use field viewer in this stage, you'll see there's a weapon at the edge of a broken ground you can't reach. You sure need to grab that one and add it to your collection. It's awesome. But how can you get to it? Good question. Remember the speed potions sold in stage 7 ninja shop? That's the key. After you grab the water plane launcher, get back on the relatively small platform between two broken grounds where you start off, try your best to balance yourself and blow those ufo up. It's quite hard, but manageable if you try hard enough.
Stg15.3
Another treck down the pit filled mountain, sigh. Uh well, at least you have potions dropped by those small devils to speed yourself up along the way. But don't overuse it. Death is in your hand. You don't even need one to begin with, but they're there for you to take, so take it, and climb down the mountain. I personally just don't care about the darn potions. If I pick one up then that's it. I need to be careful anyway regardless.
Stg15.4
And there's when the fun begins. See that flying plane? It's coming for you. Hazardous pit filled grounds and the fact that the plane can blow you up with its stupidly explosive rockets an annoy you to hell with countless small devils makes this fight very unpleasant. However, there's hope. Remember the water plane launcher you picked up in stage 15.2? Use that to blow the devils, and possibly the plane up too. I prefer using something else against the plane though. At least I can avoid it's rocket easy enough.
Before you think that's it for the stage, the plane falls down in front of you, pathetically leaving a piece of iron behind. No, don't grab that iron just yet. Make sure you have a laser saber, don't wait for the sound of that falling plane to die down, jump in the nearest pit to emerge in...a place.
You're about to have one of the most powerful weapons in the game in your hand. I don't even want to call it secret, because indeed it's a must, must and must if you want to complete the game with ease without using cheats or grind. Grab the laser cutter, jump pits, and try your best to grab hold of the floating door just above the last pit to make it through. You may need to play 15.4 again and grab the iron instead of go down the pit to complete it.
They say buying 10000 small figures inside the plane proves to unlock something. But so far, I haven't had much luck with it. The other two weapons are useful, however, though not as useful as that laser cutter you just got. Get accustomed to the laser cutter as soon as you can, and you'll love nothing else but it.
Stg16.1
Sigh, another pit filled stage. But this time it's not small devil but laser machine. If you prefer to waste time and blow them up, you can test your laser cutter on them, or use whatever range weapons you have. But that's really not the goal. Your goal is get the hell out of here.
Stg16.2
Interesting enemy again. If you play BK1, you might remember some dog sounding devil that kicks you away for a few spaces if you get too close, and don't seem to do anything other than that. Well, news is they're back in this stage. They're tough, but not hard to kill. Your laser cutter should prove useful against them here. Brave the enemies and get to the door.
Stg16.3
Wait what? A revenge? Not really.
The ultra bully here can throw big iron balls at you, can do some kind of ground punch that damages you quite severely iff you get too close, can slash you, can throw balls at you follow by locking and punching. Fighting him from the distance is easiest. Use that laser cutter to your advantage, or whatever gun/arrow you see fit.
Stg16.4
Nothing's more important that that stupid robot that appears. It's nastier than death bot if you ask me. It can launch bombs at you the same way death bot can. It can shoot super damaging rockets at you the same way planes can. It can paralyse you with some kind of paralysis machine, more like ammo if you ask me. Whatever it is, it needs taken down, in the most brutal way possible. Give it a good beating with possibly your laser cutter or anything you can. Beware, it's quite fast.
I don't find anything useful here in stage 16 shop. If you need to add something to your collection and possibly use, go ahead. They're actually quite powerful.
Stg17.1
There're nasty bots along the way, and a few nasty enemies. But you're probably use to this kind of thing already. Get to the door.
Stg17.2
Small robots eh? Something like fast water launcher and especially water plane launcher can really clean house here. Give them a good beating. The robot legs sells for quite a good price. Keep them.
Stg17.3
The bots in this stage can plant timebombs when they get near you, +their speed is quite nasty. I call this stage more of a survival one than killing. Unless you use water plane launcher or something super fast, you just can't do anything but run from them. Give it the best speed you can. Speed potions can really help. Don't let them get to you when you make your way to the doors.
Stg17.4
I hate this stage, not because of the bots in it but because of how Yukio made it hard for no reason. You have more destructive weapons than hammer, so why hammer? But anyway, since it's something you have to do then let's do it. Use the bomb to your advantage while you hammer away everything in your path, especially that bloody generator. It's actually not too hard even if it can be so sometimes.
The bombs in stage 17 shop can be useful, especially power bombs and time bombs if you plant it right.
Stg18.1
Pick up computer parts and slaughter enemies along the way. Don't let them get you. This stage can be somewhat frustrating though.
Stg18.2
Like 18.1, except there's a new hazard here. You can't kill the tracking turret, but you can run away from them, and that's exactly what you need to do to get to the door at the end of the stage. The turret will stop and shoot at you if you're directly under it.
Stg18.3
Run for your life again, sigh. This time there're ufos added. Don't fight, just pick up whatever computer parts you find and run. I tell you to pick up computer parts because you can sell them later at a shop, and they give you quite good gold.
Stg18.4
That nasty gun battery! It shoots power bombs at you. The lucky thing about it is it doesn't take much to be destroyed, just a single hit from a jump and a slash by laser cutter, or a few blows from high damaging gun. Give it a shot, and destroy the generators and the rest of the enemies once it's down. Bullies here can punch you for high damage, but who would be foolish enough to stand there and let them do so?
And here's the shop i told you to save computer part+small robot legs+everything for.
Stg19.1
Just easy generators here.
There's a secret weapon in this stage that requires high enough spirit sword level and playtime to obtain, but we'll talk about that later.Anyway, blow 'em.
Stg19.2
Generators again, This time harder. But you're so use to it right? Get 'em.
Stg19.3
Interesting stage so far. There're invisible walls you need to break to proceed. Sometimes it can be buggy and doesn't let you pass even after you break it. But all is fine. You'll get there and get the generator at the right end of the stage.
Stg19.4
The helicopter here is a tad harder than the one in 15.4, but actually may be easier because there's no pit around. Though I must admit, generators are annoying as hell. With the right weapons and strategies, it'll fall in a matter of minutes.
All weapons here except super attacker's sword are interesting. The sword is pretty useful too, but it's no better than what you already have. Feel free to buy, sell, or do whatever the hell you want. The ufo catcher here drops higher value coin exchanging card. Feel free to grind gold as you wish.
For reference, the death blow is the range weapon Yamijin uses against you in BK1.
Onward to another...well, not so pleasant adventure.
Stg20.1
If you don't want to go about looking among millions of your collected items, the password is "openthedoor". Now with the password out of the way, let's see what's inside that door.
Oh look! Your brave character tries to distract robots with a rocket. It works, and it means you have to take care of the robots too.
Thank you for the death blow, Yamijin. I can clear this stage easily using just that. This is one heck of a stage where death blow is better than laser cutter. Now let's see what the password is...
"secondpeoplekillingarea"
Weird password, but whatever.
Stg20.2
Another password? Fine...
"administrator"
Whoa! A row of cells with a single death bot guarding them? Doesn't look as nasty as it sounds huh. You know what? Grab whatever weapon and smash this thing to pieces. If you don't have or don't wanna use laser cutter, any high end gun or death blow destroys this thing pretty quick. It takes three four slashes from the cutter to do the same work.
Stg20.3
Here's the nasty stage I'm sick of having to complete. Remember 6.4 that you have to get people out of the prison and have robots chasing your ass? This stage is hell. You have to guide two groups of people out. The first trap is always, always a bunch of timebombs which you can destroy for 10 gold a piece. No, don't. Just get your people away from that crap. If you can get past that first bomb trap and walk your people out, there'll be an alarm from time to time and traps will be placed. Sometimes it's a bunch of timebombs in front or behind you and/or your group. Sometimes it's a bunch of small robots. The bots are easy as long as they don't spawn in the middle of your group. Grab a fast gun and do the job. But if they're behind your group then just run and jump as fast as you can without leaving your group behind. When you can get the group out, take care of the bots later. Once you get everyone out, take care of the bots left inside and enter the door yourself. This stage is a bitch mainly because of timebombs.
Stg20.4
Whoa, it's a helicopter again, the same kind of the one in stage 15. But this time, it comes with a bunch of death bots and big ass robot, the one you fought before that can paralyse you and shoot hard crap rocket at you. Get the copter down first. It's annoying. If you have the laser cutter then this stage shouldn't give you much trouble. By this time, you should have enough hp to withstand a few bombs already. Just try not to have that stupid rocket hit you. It hurts as hell.
The gloves in the final shop isn't very useful if you're surrounded by crazy number of enemies. Grab it if you wanna collect and mess with it, otherwise no, grab everything in the shop but that. Try to stock up as many healing items as possible. For stage 21+, the life crystal is very important. You'll see why when you reach 25.4.
Stg21.1
Aww, there I thought it'd be harder than this. Uh well, destroy these glass plates to get to the door. They'll be placed from time to time. The greatest annoyance in this stage is the group of small ddevils that will be placed on your way. Not hard though, as long as you don't stand still for them to beat you to death.
Hold on, I lie. I just died to the devils right now. Disregard all of what I said about this stage. Speed potion all the way! The devils will be placed twice on the way. Get past the second group and a bunch of glass and you'll be good to go.
Stg21.2
Time to introduce a bunch of new enemies. The big slime can shoot two waves of water that will hit twice and blast your health bar big time. The rest you've seen before. They're all nasty. Just get to the door as fast as you can.
Stg21.3
There're three switches here. One spawns robots, one spawns dragons, devils and cruisers, one spawns nastier bots and big slimes. There's a secret weapon here, but then again, I don't call that secret because it's a must for the run if you don't want to rely on grinding or cheats. Once you manage to destroy or get away from all the spawned enemies, you'll find a heating wire. Get zapped by that once resets the switches, but does not make the enemies disappear. There'll be the super electromagnetic body drop at the beginning of the stage for you to grab. This weapon makes you move at lightning speed from spot to spot. It's very useful when you fight a group of enemies, since you just make enemies gather at one side of the stage, shoot the body drop and move yourself far from them so you can take care of them at the other side of the stage/group. In an area where you normally get swarmed and your only goal is the door, you can just spam body drop+run until you get to the door. No sweat, minimum pain, good for your health. If there're two secret weapons I don't consider secret, they're laser cutter and body drop. I set them both as my default just for that. Up to you though. If you want extra challenge then go ahead.
Stg21.4
Oh yes, this is one heck of a stage, and one where the electromagnetic body drop is very useful too. The modified dragon can kick your ass within seconds if you're not prepared. Move away from them and blast them with whatever your strongest weapon is. Be careful not to let them hit you. At least they don't have super long range attacks, The only range attack they have, and one of the nastiest, is when they try to launch their claws for half a stage to rake you. Beware that attack. There's also this attack when you get close to them. They'll try to grab you and chew on your tasty flesh. Doesn't kill if you have high enough hp, but takes your huge chunk away. You can position them so they attack each other. I took like 7-8 slashes from the laser cutter to take these two down. A few cannon shots work too.
Stg22.1
This may look like a ball game thingy, but no, don't be fooled by it. This is no childish game. All you need to do is grab whatever long range weapon you have and destroy the evil balls while moving ever closer to the door. Don't try to launch the ball with enter. You'll die if you do.
Once you open the door you'll face..my favorite sounding enemies, the pus encrusted mutant (mutated) humans. How do I know they're pus encrusted? Listen to how they move. Can you hear the slimey step? Now you can imagine how they look like. They have nasty knives to stab you with, and heck, the force of their hands is enough to shatter your bone. Show them how pathetic they are as mutants. Once they're gone, enter the door. Two slashes from a well aimed laser cutter kicks their butts.
Stg22.2
Destroy all the death bots in this room. Whatever weapons you have by now shouldn't give you much trouble.
Stg22.3
Oopsy, some trap was set up and your weapons are all snached. Never mind. There's a turret you can use here. The turret will stop at your position and shoot you. No, not you in this case. Make it shoot the box instead so you can get your weapons back. Stop at the box, once the turret stops, move one step away, then move back, repeat. The first box contains your weapons. The second box contains the key to open the next door. Blast them all, then say bye to the turret and run. Don't bother fighting in the next room. Just run to the door.
Stg22.4
Another trap...whoa! Alright, this stage is one heck of a stage you can't stand still and fight, because there's a stupid turrent here. But you probably won't stand still anyway since robots move all over the place and you need to kill them and collect everything to progress. Let's do it then. The robots are no joke though, be careful. And try not to die to lesser enemies like mutants or death bots. Your life is worth more than that.
Stg23.1
The first room contains laser machines. Don't fight them. Just get to the door. Once you get to the door, there'll be words you need to type down in order:
"radio robot gold spaceship aircraft technology"
If you use the p (password detection key) on the door, it'll give you paper with the same words written. This one's easy, but the room behind it isn't.
You need to get to the door as fast as you can. There's also a new type of dragon, the mega dragon, in this room too. They're not as harmful as modified dragon, but pack as much punch.
Stg23.2
Another run to the door stage. But wait, don't be fooled. There's a new type of enemy in this stage too. If you play BK1, you'll probably remember this thump thump thump sound of this enemy. It's the beam machine! It can shoot ground beam at you, as well as air beam. Now how do you know which one is which, since they start by saying "Laser Beam" all the same. You know it's air beam when there's some beep beep beep sound when they say Laser Beam. Really hard to detect when you're surrounded by millions of enemies though. Don't bother fighting. Just run.
Stg23.3
You have everything from small bots to ufos here. The door is what you need to get to.
Before going through the next door, keys are spawning every ten seconds or so. Wait until you have ten of them, then proceed.
Open another door right after the first one, and there comes something to...not really burn your head. It's the guess the number kinda puzzle. Answers are random. The sure fire way is to mark the first number in the row, mark the second, answer. If you mark it wrong, remove the second, mark the third, answer, until you get it right. If you can't find it in the first number, mark the second number and keep marking til you get it right or you're at the end of the row. If you can't find answer in the second number then mark the third and mark+answer the rest of the row, and mark, and answer...do it til you get it right.
Stg23.4
This stage starts with a password.
"pleasetime"
Let's see what'll happen if you type it...
Two helicopters that can do everything the previous helicopters can, +pits in the middle of the stage? Alright then, that doesn't sound too good. Don't bother with anything else. Get the helicopters. Body drop and laser cutter are both very useful here. If you prefer challenge, go for the guns you got in stage 20 shop.
Constantly retyping the password into the terminal will slow the holes from spawning.
Stg24.1
Boaty boaty, relaxing eh? Wait no! There's a weapon, a wave attack that sends enemies flying quite a way. I love it, just charge the swarm of enemies and fire away and suddenly half of them are at the other end of the stage. You need to get off the boat to get. When you're outside the boat, fish can attack you. If you don't want the weapons, just get to the door. If you grab the weapon, get back to the boat and sail to the door. Destroy the plates on the way too, or else you'll die once you get to the door. A good range weapon is very useful for this stage. Weapons that can push and pull are useful too if you fail to destroy a plate and want to get back and do it. There is also a secret weapon, called the chaos flair. See the secrets section. Once you collect three chaos flairs, the blue sword will be in place of the flair and you can't collect any more flairs. I think there's something that replaces the blue sword as a secret weapon too, but I haven't yet known how to get it.
There's a bug in this stage. If you choose to end the stage without completing it, the boat sound will keep looping.
Stg24.2
There's a big generator that spawns small generators which can, in turn, spawn a lot of enemies. The big generator will spawn a small and moves away. Your goal is to destroy that big one. This is yet another stage where laser cutter is very, very useful.
Stg24.3
More nasty enemies, but you need only to get to the door. Once inside, the door will be left open and some enemies can enter. There's a pachingo machine in this room. You need to use the regular pachingo to shoot 100 pachingo balls in the machine, exactly 100, then use the hyper pachingo to shoot big pachingo balls in the machine, exactly 100 as well. Do it before enemies come, and don't do it over 100 or else you'll have to reset and lose all of the balls you shoot. Once you're done,, the door can be safely entered.
Stg24.4
Beware, once you complete this stage, you won't be able to access the shops. Stock as many health items as you can. Don't ever think of braving stage 25 without at least 50 life crystals and more than 1500 hp, or you'll face nasty consequences and unable to do anything for yourself. I stocked over 100 life crystal just in case. Survived with 92 left but that was just luck. I had 2180 hp when I set out, which helped quite a bit with the battle instead of having to rely on crystal the whole time.
Alright, on to stage 24.4
Don't move forward a step, grab long range weapon and make sure you face the right direction (without moving to it of course). Blow the gun battery and proceed to blow everything else too. There's a turret in this stage, but it's not as annoying as the enemies you have to kill. Oh look! There's even a modified dragon in here! Be careful then. The dragon alone is nasty enough, topped with helicopter which can do everything all helicopters in the game can and a few more nasty enemies...heh, you can imagine the mess.
And finally, I'm coming for you, Punisher.
Stg25.1
This is at least 4 rooms full of small devils, bigger ones that can knock you back, pits and glass walls above said pits. There's a way to cheat, and you absolutely must cheat unless you wanna run this stage the whole day. Press escape then enter and you'll fly through the door. Enter the door, fly again, enter the door, fly again, enter the door, fly again and then fly for the final time. There's no reason and no way for you to waste your time and healing items just trying to jump the pit full of devils up the building. Just fly. You'll know why once you reach the top floor.
Stg25.2
You have to fight three waves of enemies, each wave nastier than the previous. I'm giving you reasons to love laser cutter and electromagmetic body drop here. Even your strongest guns give you super hard time fending off these hords. Beam machines spawn in the second+ wave, beware.
Enter the door once you're done.
Stg23.3
Just one more stage before you face that idiotic punisher that makes your life hard as hell. The password is...it's a stupid math crap I don't even care to think since I suck at math, but there's a paper that tells the password. But if you don't wanna waste your time, the password is...
"806"
Get pass everything in this room, don't bother fighting. There's some fun thing in the next room.
And the fun thing is...push the launch pad along the way and let it shoot all the coins and make them shine. Time to use items that can push, like heavy blade I'm using right now. It's not hard, just requires a little bit of patience to make sure you get all the coins. Once you're done, it's time to face the real challenge.
Stg25.4
So your name is Charles huh? Good to know then. But that doesn't prevent you from stopping me.
Prepare for a three rounds battle...
The first round is a mass attack from every top tier enemies in the games, big robots, big slimes, mutants, beam machines, modified dragons...much more. I'm too lazy to name them all. Now you have a reason to love me for the warning about health items I gave back in 24.4.
Once you manage to clear the room, Charles will launch the mother computer, a computer which can clone anything its laser connects with.
There used to be a version of the game that you could destroy the mother computer with one club hit. It was the same version as the one Boy used to write his walkthrough. No more though.
There's a nasty sounding clone of yours in here too, and of course he doesn't sound like you. He sounds super stupid, in fact. He has hyper pachingo and a few nasty weapons on him. Well, at least he doesn't have laser cutter and body drop. It's your chance to kick his ass. Get as many enemies out of the way as you can, and don't let any of them get near the computer, or else they'll be cloned. Try attacking the computer as often as you can while getting enemies out of the way. Never, ever let that computer clone you, or you'll be left with one more clone of yourself to deal with. Once the computer is down and everything else is down with it, it's time for the final round.
Search and destruct (more like search and destroy) robot version 2.0 initiated!
The first pain is you have 5 minutes, exactly 5 minutes to destroy this thing. The second pain is you need to be really, really careful when you get close to it. Don't even think of fighting this thing with your melee stuff, except the laser cutter if you have. Cutter+body drop combo makes it a bit easier to fight, since the bot can shoot like 5 paralysers at you, follows by five bombs, and it's 20 times stronger than normal bots. I tried the power bomb launcher against it when I'm far enough. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The most sure fire way is to get close enough to be able to hear it move then pelt it with bullets or something, or rockets, laser cutting blade...anything. Keep your health in check at all time. If you have less than a thousand hp, it's time to heal. You are free to chug as many crystal as you have on your body to keep yourself sane and safe. Believe me, you don't want to go crazy dying to this thing and start the first two rounds all over again.
Once you're done, it's time for the happy ending. I won't spoil how happy it is if you don't know. You'd better find out yourself.
4. Extra
You get more extra stages when you level your spirit sword high enough. The rest of the sstages will be unlocked again, and new shops will spawn for stage 21-24. There're new weapons for you to grab, including the spirit sword you'll really need in order to unlock stuff later. The extra stages can be unlocked once at the shop position of stage 25. The rest depends on your spirit sword.
The maximum spirit sword level that you can get appears to be 2000. The range is also fixed at 3 or so tiles, so you cannot clear the battlefield with one enormous SWIPE!
Note: extra stages are usually unlocked when you load your save data, you'll hear a stage completion sound or in the case of the mother computer stage a clone chip launch sound to signify this.
Laser Machine stage
Destroy as many laser machines as possible using one single weapon. Let's see how many you can get until you die.
Card eater
Collect cards while destroying card eaters and prevent them from eating the cards you collect.
Merchant
He will buy any of your collection items. This is rather broken. You can buy 1000 9MM ammo for 100 gold but then sell it for 1000 gold...
Devil Planet
This is a fun stage. You'll have to get away from bombs and crows. Can you smell devil? Get through the gate and choose which one you'll enter. I'm not sure what's the difference. The white gate just ends the stage for me. There's a devil laser machinegun for you to get in this stage. Don't forget to grab it before you enter the gate.
Mass production
This s another fun yet nasty stage. You can spawn search and destruct robots to kill. You can choose to spawn as many as ten, or go with the random choice which can spawn more than that. I spawned 14 once. Didn't complete it though. Too lazy to avoid 5 rapid bombs, lol.
Flying devil game
Your goal is to jump all the pits and get to the door. I tell ya, it's very nasty, especially with flying devils waiting to smack you into the pit. Don't jump when they sore over you. I hate jumping the pits myself, so I haven't yet completed this stage. Completing this stage will reward you with the power bomb launcher SP. It's the same as the power bomb launcher, but it automatically adjusts the range of your power bombs to jit the nearest enemy. It's not smart enough to ignore UFOs though.
Mother computers
This seems to be unlocked by getting the clone generator. In this stage, you are at 150, and there are 2 mother computers. One 50 squares to the left, the other 50 squares to the right. This means that their chips can hit and clone each other. They can quickly multiply out of hand if that happens.
5. Secrets
Things that normally don't appear in stages and require you to do something special to get, I consider them secrets, except the laser cutter and the electromagnetic body drop.
1.3
If you keep talking to people in this stage, spamming at
least 60-90 on every of them to make sure, you'll have a chance to get two weapons. The heart turns enemies against themselves. The megaton club is given by yokotank. The heart is probably given by friend 2
6.3
Abicus appears after you get the water launcher 3, which is one of the secret weapons. The item will replace ten potions which you normally get. If you really want to stock up potions, try not to get water launcher 3 yet. stock as many potions as you want. The best way to get it is to grab the water launcher 3 and get the abicus when you're ready and stocked. Many abicuses won't help doubling your gold at once. They always count as one.
*stages that require you to complete at one edge of it can be cheated by using collector dog.
13.2: water launcher 3 is obtained by being at exactly the very left edge of the stage, the first position you start at,alive and wait until it comes to the first position and kill it there, or at least next to there so you can run to the first positionright after getting your last piece of gold or whatever. The sure fire way is to try and kill your last enemy at position 0,0.
13.3
sky machine gun, do the same as how you do to get the water launcher 3. But of course this thing is way harder since what you face are ufoes.
14.4
Another edgy stage. Yoyo is obtained by completing the stage while standing at the very left edge. Kenju is obtained by completing the stage at the exact right edge. By holding the space bar down, it launches projectiles that penetrate multiple enemies.
17.4
Clone generator can be gotten by standing at the left side of the stage when completing it. You know the drill.
19.1
After you get a super yoyo and play here for 15 minutes or more, you'll get the hyper yoyo. If you don't, try leveling up your spirit sword the whole 15 minutes you're there and you'll get it.
3.4
After you get the yoyo, flip the switch in this stage and use field viewer. You'll see the super yoyo. Grab it.
Weirdly, the hyper yoyo requires you to turn your back toward the enemies and use. It's really good, but tricky to use.
7.3
After you level your spirit sword to a certain level, you'll find the stone shower just lying in the mud at the end of the river. It's tricky to find though.
6.3
After you get your spirit sword past a certain level, the slime redemption card will appear along side the abicus. There are other requirements. Maybe try talking to Yamagin at stage 1-3?
11.3
If the first two soft point ammoes at the beginning of this stage are destroyed, not taken, a super box gun will spawn. It's quite good so get it if you're able.
24.1
Chaos flair can be gotten in this stage somehow. It involves 2 things, the first I don't know, the second seems to be making sure that there are no metal places / items between X coordinates 0 and 100 and then jump in the boat. It seems to make a special sound if you do it right. If you do that, a new object will spawn on your field viewer, called a road on the river. Use your boat to get close to it. Once you hear a beeping noise, jump straight up and you should land on a road, at the end of which is the chaos flair. Grab it, go left until you fall back into the river, then use the boat to leave the stage.
By collecting three chaos flares, you have a chance to collect the ultra yoyo.
18.1
The queen whip will spawn at x 200 at some point.
Stage 19 shop
the UFO catcher can sometimes drop gift cards that you can use in the stage 4 shop to get 1000 gold coins a piece. Since the UFO is free, this is a good way to grind for gold.
There are special combinations of keys that you can hold down in order to summon various things:
t, a, c: summons a cat
d, o, g: summons an attack dog
k, n: summons a collector dog who will pick up items and bring them to you. Not as useful as it sounds but still cool.
h, c: summons a stationary gun battery like in stage 14.4. You can hide behind it and charge enemies using your press hammer, or you can start a stage with generators, hide behind it and let it commit mass slaughter. Note that 19.1 is about the best stage for this. More powerful enemies can destroy your battery after 10 minutes or so.
t, y: summons Yokotank. He apparently attacks by eating his enemies. His attack does enormous damage.
6. Credits and thanks
Huge thanks goes to, of course, Nyanchan, for making this awesome series in a whole. Also thanks to boy's walkthrough for making my bk life somewhat easer, even though I don't follow most of what you said in the walkthrough, especially weapon recommendations. You missed a whole lot of weapons that you claim to suck, like the laser saber.
I may miss something in the walkthrough. If you find something I miss, please suggest. I'll be sure to add it to the walkthrough.
How to install the Kali Linux tools on Ubuntu, complete guide.
Are you learning ethical hacking and want a machine besides kali that you can use for hacking? Or perhaps you just want to know how to get the kali linux tools on Ubuntu? If you do, this guide will guide you thrue the process of getting the tools on a Ubuntu machine. All you really need is a machine that is running Ubuntu, some general knolige about linux, and that's about it. If you don't have a Ubuntu machine you can grab an iso from the following link.
https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop
Ok, now that that's out of the way, lets get started!
First things first, navagate to the terminal emulator and launch it, it should be noted that you need sudo access for this to work.
Now, we will make sure git is installed, run the following command.
git version
If you get a message stating that git is not recognized type the following.
sudo apt install git
This should install git.
Now that git is installed, we can install katoolin.
Run the following command.
git clone https://github.com/LionSec/katoolin.git
I would recommend coppying that last command, mainly because that link is quite long and you may mess up.
I would also recommend giving your self full root access before continuing, to do that run the following command.
sudo su
Now we will coppy katoolin to the derectory we are currently in, type the following.
cp katoolin/katoolin.py /usr/bin/katoolin
Now tipe the following.
chmod +x /usr/bin/katoolin
Now we will exacute katoolin, to do that tipe the following.
sudo katoolin
After launching katoolin you will see a fiew options, what you need to do is type the number 1, then type the number 2. After wich you need to go back to the main menu by typing the following.
gohome
You will now see the option to install the tools, if you want all of them type 0.
It should be noted that it is going to take a while to install them, so be pationt.
This should successfully install the kali linux tools.
Note, if you are getting errors after trying to launch katoolin you need to type the following.
wget -q -O - archive.kali.org/archive-key.asc
This will update the keys nessasary
Anyway that concludes this guide, I hope this helped!
Capture card setup with OBS
So I wanna do a capture card setup guide. Here it is.
This guide is for windows, I don't know how this works on mac.
This is a guide that will use OBS studio and some other software, see below.
You should read my OBS guides first. That will help you understand the software a bit more.
This guide asumes your using an Elgato device. If your not using an Elgato device skip the Elgato software part.
You will need
A console or a PC you wanna use the capture card with.
A capture card.
OBS Studio. You can get it here
Elgato Game Capture Software: You can get it here
A way to use OCR. I use the default one with NVDA
Note, In the elgato setup you will get the option for sound capture. This is Optional and is not for your game sound, but discord and other stuff. I don't use that so I skipped it.
The Elgato software
If you have tryde the software you will know that it is mostly innaccessible. I say mostly because there is a way to get into the settings menu, and one's you are there you can use NVDA as normal.
you will need to do a cupple of things first though:
Connect the capture card to your console, or PC. You will need to use a USB 3 port on your computer. USB 2 doesn't work.
set your gamecapture software window to maximized
Go to the shortcut that should be on your desktop, alternatively go into the folder where the software is installed and make a shortcut of the EXE file.
Right click and go to properties. From here go to run. Set it to maximized and press OK.
The console or PC that you wanna to capture must be off.
Right then, let's begin!
Open the software. Don't do anything just let NVDA say the window name. Then do OCR. If that doesn't work press the windows key and press it again to close the start menu. Now do OCR again.
Alternatively You can edit some config files in the AppData folder, coming soon.
You should here something like this: no signal, the XBOX one isn't connected to the HDMI settings.
Press enter where it says settings. If all goes well you should be in the capture settings. Here you can use the tab key and change the stuff you want. Set the profile to whatever your capturing. The default one is XBOX one. The rest should be setup for you already, but check everything just in case.
60FPS should be enabled, if not enable it. Also make sure that audio is HDMI audio. This will make the audio come out of your PC speakers, we can change the output device later.
Close the software and hopefully you don't need to use it again.
OBS Studio
Make a new sceen and name it whatever you want. Add a video capture device source.
In the properties for the source select your capture card from the list. Then leave everything else at default, this is because we changed the options in the software. Now press OK
Now go into obs settings and find audio. Find audio monitoring and select the audio device you want to use as monitoring device. Press OK and you'l be in the main window again. Go to where it says Elgato properties and press space on it. Go to advanced audio properties. Press tab until you here: monitor off and press down errow until you here: Monitor and Output. Press escape to close it, it saves automaticly.
Go to the source list and press space to select the elgato source. Right click and go to transform. Note, NVDA likes to glitch out in this menu, the option below transform is: resize output (source size). Go down until you here: fit to screen.
Now right click again on the source and go to: fullscreen Projector (Source), select your display and you got yourself a preview of the source in fullscreen.

Shadow rine guide of the temple basement.
Note this guide contains spoilers, read at your own risk.
This dungeon is very hard and the first time I played it, I spent quite a few hours going in circles and I only managed to get through because I was following a Youtube playthrough.
So, I decided to make this guide in the hope that someone would find it useful. It is very hard to follow what a person is doing by just watching a video, so I decided to make a text guide where I can exactly describe what I was doing.
first floor
you start out in a room in which you can either go north or south.
go north from here.
you are now in a room, in which there is a chest surrounded by a wall. I will call this the main room for the first floor.
this room has 4 exits. go east from here.
there are 3 exits from this room
go south from here into a room which has a chest in it
inside the chest there is the flame key.
Pick it up an go back into the main room.
from here go west
go north from this room through the flame door into a room where you will find the water key
to get the water key you have to go west, north and east and jump over the pit.
note that since the pit is right on a drop off you will not get the edge warning.
go back to the main room and go east
this time go north through the water door
then go east down the stairs to the second floor

go west down to the third floor.
third floor
go south into a room with a checkpoint.
now go east into a room with teleporters. warp east into a room with 3 exits to the north. I will call this the main room of the third floor.
this room is very confusing because the 3 exits are very close to each other and look identical.
go north right as you enter.
in this room there is a chest with the tree key inside it.
take it and go back into the main room and go through the right most exit
follow this room north, east and south.

go through it and flip the switch.
go back to the room with 3 exits to the south. go through the right northern exit and get the empty key.
go back to the west entrance of the teleporting room and warp south.
go south through the empty door and up the stairs.
there are 2 chests here one of them contains the darkness key and the other contains 50 curin. open both and go all the way to the main room of the first floor.
go through the west door and then south through the darkness door.
fall off all the drop offs and then go through the north door.
go north again and then go through the east door and flip the switch.
now go all the way back to the main room of the first floor and the wall surrounding the chest will disappear. note you sometimes have to walk around the wall a little before it disappears.
in this chest there is the boss key.
now that you have the boss key you have to go back to the main room of the third floor.
go west into the teleporting room. warp west once then go north into the boss room.
the dark orb
as you have heard in the story you can not attack the dark orb.
the dark orb can not attack you directly but will generate enemies.
how to defeat the dark orb
to defeat the dark orb you have to knock it into the pit.
how ever you have to hit it when it is not about to generate monsters and when there are no monsters on the field.
how do I know when it is about to generate monsters, you ask?
when the battle starts you hear the dark orb growling.
this means that it is about to generate monsters.
the first time it generates a lot of monsters and after that it generates one monster at a time.
each time you knock it into a pit it loses some health and the cycle starts again.
the number of times you have to knock it into a pit changes for each difficulty.
List of where to find all the doors

Road to Rage: Clocktower Map Guide (In Progress)
Clocktower
I wrote this guide, at least the first draft of it in the middle of school, because I had nothing better to do, and I found myself getting increasingly good at the Clocktower map as my friends and I played it quite a bit. I decided that it might be interesting actually compiling my findings in a little guide of sorts, so… here you go!
Clocktower is my favorite map in base RTR. It offers a really linear design that still lets you get the drop on people, is compromised of narrow hallways and wide open spaces alike, and offers really high item spawn rates so anyone can get back on there feet really easy. Clocktower is a map where the powerful, are only powerful as long as they can lock down both northern rooms and they have vast amounts of health.
Map Description
From south to north:
The southern most room of the map is a small room with two fountains in it. Doors connect several small, rectangular rooms leading north. These can be decent places to lay in wait for someone, because if you squeeze into the corner, especially of the door that they are coming in, there radar usually won’t pick you up. This is useful if you want to ambush someone, or even just hide from them.
Generally in the center of the map is what is labeled as “The Beep Room” by my friends and I. It is a slightly larger room with several beeping items that are shootable. Upon being shot, they release a beeping countdown which ends in a piercing shriek of a sound. I don’t really recommend fighting in here because it’s very easy to get confused by all the sounds.
To the north of this room is a longer hallway. As you proceed north, the walls close in, forcing you to walk in the center of the hallway. This is a nice spot to catch someone from behind because If they are near the beginning or middle of the hallway, they don’t have time to really get out. The end of the hallway marks the only room change that doesn’t have a door in it.
This room is the best source of items. It’s roughly rectangular, with it being longer along the east west axis. Items spawn incredibly quickly and it’s wide openness makes it a great place for spray and pray weapons. The hallway we mentioned before marks the southwest corner, while a door in the northwest faces it, marking the entry to the 2 by 2 laundry room with a shootable laundry machine, at least, that’s what we think it is. In the center of the southern wall is a short carpet hallway, with a door in the west wall near the south.
This door leads into a mirrored hallway in the northwestern corner of another large metal room with a great item spawn. It is very rare for someone to spawn here, so it’s a good place to camp. In the southwest corner is a door that leads back into the hallway in front of “The Beep Room”, making a neat little rectangle of exits.
As you can see, the map is quite simply lain out, it’s just a matter of remembering where exits are and how long it takes to get to them.
Strategies
When running north through “The Beep Room”, often times I’ll hold “D” as well to quickly run out of the “Beep Room” door and quickly into the Metal Room’s. I’ll almost always use the northern door to ambush people in the main northern room, or even just because I’m able to check both rooms for items if I take that path. I use a similar trailing technique to pop out of the door to the main northern room, and jump as soon as the door opens to try and evade any incoming fire. I will usually start moving towards the northeastern corner because that offers a good sense of stability and is a good place to spray if multiple people are there. Be careful not to get caught in corners of these rooms, especially if you’re not facing a direct 90 degree angle, because you may not be able to dive out the way before you get pumped full of lead.
Also, if you have breathing room or other people are occupied, try running south through the entire map. A lot of items will start to pile up in those rooms as other people don’t try to go south. Usually by the time you get back, there will be more items in the Northern rooms waiting for you.
One on One
When I’m alone on a server, I’ll usually camp out in the two northern rooms. Often times, they will come to you knowing that you hold the best resource in the game.
3 Players
A lot of times with 3 players you can allow the other two players to fight over a room while you sneak off south to get more items and take down the remaining one. Also, if all three of you are in a room together, they start fighting and you have a good spray weapon, you can try and stay in corners and shoot them both as they fight, just remember to keep moving so they are more concerned with the player actively engaging them.
More Than 3 Players
I haven’t played verry much with more than 3 players, but a lot of strategies still apply. Thankfully, it’s a lot more chaotic, and thus it’s very easy to stay on the sidelines and kill steal if you’re not very well equipped.
Weapon Guides
What follows is a list of weapons with recommended strategies and methods of use. Note that a lot of weapons act similarly and thus have similar strategies.
MK14:
As the spawned weapon, the goal of mine when I start with this is to GTFO of a big room that people are in. Usually I'll go to get items and come back as soon as I have anything else,
If you're of an oppinion that you want to try and take someone with this poor excuse of a weapon, then the corners of big rooms are your friend, especially when there are multiple people fighting. Generally just try your best to pepper there flanks and stay as mobile as possible. never be afraid to jump past the muzzle of a firing gun, because you won't be hit in the air,
Fighting it: MK14's do relatively no damage, so if you are fine on health, you are fine to take a few hits to kill the user with a quick burst.
M60:
This is a very good weapon if you wish to have crowd control. Often times, people will get nervous from the amount of bullets you are spewing forth, but you have to be careful not to overextend or you'll run out of ammo, causing you to reload, really slowly,
Overall, I'm not a big fan of using this for fights where you are the target, but in a pinch it works,
Fighting It: Overall, the damage output is pretty low for this weapon provided they don't get you trapped. Generally try to stay mobile, and bait out long bursts to make them have less ammo.
SOSS-90:
This weapon does a lot of damage, and if you catch them unawares you can sink several shots in. Three or four shots will take out a newly spawned, and clips come in 50s,
A good place for this is actually in the hallways, where cornering someone because they panick is really easy,
Fighting It: I'm sounding like a broken record, but stay mobile. Try to scircle around them as they shoot so that they are facing away from you when you start sinking lead into them, they will apreciate it.
MG4:
Ah, the MG4. The best weapon for this map. A well timed burst takes out a newly spawned, and stepping out of a door, surprising someone facing away from you with a full clip and then stepping back into the door has killed so many people,
The mG4 is really good because it can be used practically anywhere. It excells in the big rooms, it's really nice if you corner someone in a hallway... etc,
Fighting It: It's always fun to have an MG4 VS. MG4 battle. Usually, you can only fight and MG4 with a good weapon, because otherwise, you'll almost always get caught. Interestingly, I've found that A SOSS or Shotgun works really nicely for this, because it forces you to be precise and calculated with your movements.
Doom-90:
This weapon actually tends not to be as good as usual on this map. With the abundance of faster, more accurate weapons, you have a hard time getting a bead on someone,
That isn't to say that this weapon sucks. It's quite good, in fact. If you can corner or surprise someone, you can sink several shots into them provided you are a fast spammer and generally accurate.
Fighting It: The Doom can be scary, but you just have to keep a level head and not get stuck.
Shotgun:
This weapon is quite similar to the SOSS, where it's very low ammo, but it packs a punch. Often times, as long as you can stay close to your oponent and not get hit, you'll d pretty well,
I've found that if two people are fighting close together, you can blast away at them with a shotgun pretty much without being punished for it,
Fighting It: People usually have to commit to standing still and shooting at least once, because the shotgun has such a small range and speed. If you can get a handle on how your oponent moves, you can usually catch them landing.
MP5
This weapon does a lot of damage quickly. It's good if you need to clear a room or need cover-fire to exit a room,
It does tend to run out of ammo quickly, although you do pick up a good amount of clips quickly,
Fighting It: Honestly, this weapon is kind of hard to fight, because it really does a lot of damage. The best advice I can give is to be extremely careful, and try to dive through or around the shots, because usually they'll end up committing to a burst for longer than other weapons.
\
AK47"
This gun is very, very good. It has a high ammo pool, is pretty fast, but not fast enough to be a huge ammo dump, and does really good damage,
You don't get a ton of clips with the weapon, so you can run out of ammo if you're not careful, and the weapon really isn't useful in tight spaces because you'll be firing long enough that the recoil turn will have you shooting a wall quite quikly,
Fighting It: It's best to avoid a good person with an AK unless you have a decent weapon you're comfertable with, and nor you can lure them into a hallway, where they struggle a little.
M16:
I'm not a huge fan of this mainly because the damage and speed are underwhelming. It does have a good ammo capacity, though,
It tends to do better in hallways due to it's slower speed, and you won't run out of ammo very quickly,p/*]
Fighting It: Provided you don't get stuck in a corner or in a hallway, you shouldn't have to much trouble fighting something with an M16.
MJ420:
This gun kind of sucks, I'd honestly put it not much above MK14. It has pretty bad damage, really low capacity and subpar firespeed,
It's ok in a pinch, but I'll take anythin but the MK14 if I have it,
Fighting It: Honestly, you shouldn't have too much trouble fighting this weapon as long as you don't stand in one spot.
Conclusion
Over all, the main thing to remember in Clocktower is that you will not keep power forever. Someone will probably manage to corner you in one of the big rooms with an MG4 or a Doom90 and you will die. That’s the fun of it, though. You can build up, have a long, chaotic fight between a few friends, and people die in huge bullet hells. The problem is, if you start collecting way before anyone else logs in, especially if they’re not nearly as knowledgeable or experienced as you, you can easily hold the northern room with an MG4 or Doom, with out even taking damage. Overall, if new people log in and I’m ridiculously powerful, I try to log out and back in so it’s more fun.
The beginners guide to Fortnite, blind
Welcome, to the never-ending world of Fortnite Battle Royale! I have attempted to put together a sort of guide to help you get Fortnite and start, with some information to help you get started. My sighted friend, @greenbeangravy, wrote most of this, I wrote all of the voice attack stuff and added some notes throughout. I hope you enjoy this guide, as it has been a pleasure to get everyone hyped for it to come out.
Please note, this only works for PC. Using a controller is not advised. Sighted help is required to set keybinds reliably, but if you wish to use trial and error, OCR is possible as well just not recommended. A list of keybinds will be at the very bottum.
Getting Voice Attack
1. Go to https://voiceattack.com/#download-1
2. open the file, and follow the on-screen prompt to install Voice Attack.
3. On the first launch, use NVDA object navigation or OCR to go through the tips, and program setup.
4. download the Voice Attack profile at https://www.dropbox.com/s/hmssgtavne7r5 … .zip?dl=1.
5. Extract the folder anywhere.
6. copy the folder after extraction, go to %appdata% and paste it into the folder. Restart VoiceAttack, and the profile will be automatically activated. The keys are as followed.
Note: The keys are Numpad based, and require numlock off, but will be listed as if numlock were on.
1: Turn right.
2: aim down
3: turn right.
4: turn left in a smaller increment, useful for slower aiming or to be more accurate.
5: Recenter vertical aim, useful for jumping out of cars, after landing from the battle bus, looking up to break down chests or enemies, etc.
6: turn right in a smaller increment, useful for slower aiming or to be more accurate.
8: looks upwards
0: builds a box around you, building a wall to your left, right, behind, and back, build a floor above your head, then a roof on top of the floor, before looking at the front wall, fixing vertical aiming, and equipping the weapon or item in the first slot. This is useful if you need to build in a pinch, but note that after it speaks there are about 3 seconds before it starts building.
Numpad period key. do a 180-degree turn. This is self-explanatory, does a 180-degree flip, don't worry it looks realistic.
Page down. look straight down at the ground. This will make you move faster while sky diving, without you moving forward. This is also required to hit people on the ground with UFOs, and airplanes in creative.
How to make an Epic Games account:
Step 1: Visit "https://www.epicgames.com/login"
Step 2: Find and click the "Sign Up" button.
Step 3: Choose the method you want to use to sign up.
Step 4: Fill in your birth date, name, username, and everything else you might need to do.
Step 5: Paste in the verification code either sent to your phone or email.
You should now have a working Epic Games account!
How to get Fortnite on your account, and download the Epic Games Launcher:
Step 1: "Visit https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/fortnite"
Step 2: Find and press the "Get" button.
Step 3: Find and press the "Order" button after about 5 seconds after pressing the "Get" button to allow the page to load.
Step 4: Press the "Download Epic Games Launcher" button. This will download the Epic Games MSI. Give it a few seconds to appear if you cannot see it.
Step 5: Open and complete the Installation.
How to Download Fortnite on to your PC:
Step 1: Open the Epic Games Launcher and log in. You may need to use OCR for this.
Step 2: Using OCR, find and press the "Library" tab in the Launcher.
Step 3: Find Fortnite and press the "Install" button using OCR.
Step 4: Press the newly appeared "Install" button using OCR again.
This should download and install Fortnite onto your PC. Keep in mind that this is a 40GB game, so make sure you have the space for it. It will take a while. Once the game is finished Downloading and Installing, you should have a Desktop icon for it.
How to get started with Fortnite:
First off, when the game is loaded and you can hear music, press the "Battle Royale" button using OCR. You will need to use OCR a lot for Fortnite.
This will trigger a chain of unskippable cinematics. Once the cinematics are done, press escape through all the menu's that popup. This includes the news, a battle pass advert, and some new cosmetic features. You will know when to stop pressing escape when you can see a button labeled "Claim". If you don't see this but instead see a list of tabs at the top of your screen, such as Play, Locker, Item Shop, Compete, and Battle Pass, you can also stop pressing escape.
To continue to the next step, make sure you can see the "Ready" button. If you cannot see "Ready", press escape, you should now be able to.
How to start a match of Fortnite:
You can start off by pressing the "Change" button to select the game mode you would like to play. Once you choose the game mode you would like to play, such as Solo's or Team Rumble, press the "Accept" button after clicking the game mode.
You are now ready to start a game of Fortnite! But wait, there are still some things I need to tell you about the game. If you want to start a game anyways, press the "Ready" button, you will be queued into a match soon.
How to play the game, plus current limitations:
First off, as of now, it is impossible to reliably locate the position of a player vertically, making terrain in the game very hard to fight on, versus a flat plain. I have developed maps for me and my blind friend to play on, and so can you! But that will be listed later on in this post.
Second, if you hear a sort of ringing sound, that would be a chest. Chests are usually located at the feet of the player, so you need to crouch to open them. Chests contain everything from healing items to guns. Chests contain a single gun, ammo for that gun, and a consumable item/healing item. Interact with the chest to open it by using "E".
Third, once you load into a match of Fortnite, you will hear people shooting, dancing, and building. Don't worry! this is the Spawn Island of Fortnite, think of it as a pre-game to the actual game. You cannot die on spawn island or get kills, and any items you may pick up are deleted upon entering the actual match.
Fourth, you will hear bus honking sounds 10 seconds before being spawned into the Battle Bus. After the 10 seconds is over, you will hear the bus flying through the air. Once you hear a tri-tone type sound (three beeps in succession) you are now able to use the spacebar/jump to exit the battle bus. Once you exit the bus, hold the W key/forward key, to move towards the ground. You will hear your glider get equipped about 10-15 seconds before landing on the ground. Once you land on the ground, press your VoiceAttack centering key, as you do not look straight if you jump out of the bus yourself.
Fifth, you are now on the map! You can use left-click/attack to swing your pickaxe and break the destructible environment, some things are indestructible though. You can tell if an obstacle is indestructible based on if your pickaxe seems to rebound against it and swing faster than normal. Your pickaxe, like any other weapon, can be used to harm others. You can walk around and try to find weapons and chests. Some chests sound different than others. open anyone you hear, as it could give you healing items, or increased loot!
Sixth, You will hear what sounds like a clock ticking about 5 seconds before the storm starts to close. The storm slowly gets smaller and smaller to bring the remaining players closer to each other. The storm has phases of damage ranging from 1-10 depending on the storm phase, so the more you hear the clock ticking sound, the more dangerous it gets! Runaway from the storm to get to safety, and you will hear another tone when it stops moving. You will hear a type of hissing and humming combined when the storm is near you, and the tone changes depending on the speed it moves, or if it isn't moving and that is the edge of the circle.
Seventh, every once in and while you will hear a very fast beeping tone, and possibly a type of distance wind type of sound. This, is a supply drop. Supply drops fall from the sky in the circle, so they can be a good reminder if you are in the circle or not. If you look towards one and run towards it, you might be in time to hear it fall to the ground, which sounds like a chest, but lower pitch and more hum-like. Once this sound changes or stops and you hear the supply drop hit the ground, you can crouch and hold e to open it. Supply drops will give you a purple (epic) or legendary (gold) gun, 2 stacks of consumables, 2 ammo spawns of ammo for the weapon it dropped and is common to find a launch pad inside. Going for supply drops is risky since anyone can see it on their minimap and head to it. Don't shoot or pickaxe them, because enemies can see the supply drop health bar and can tell if someone is near it.
Eighth, aiming in with right control increases your accuracy. You will not always hit shots unfortunately, this can be due to just missing in general, shooting a wall, or the player being above or below you.
other NPC's
Fortnite has other NPCs. Characters that are around the map, that walk around slowly with non-player footsteps and make a buzzing sound when within a certain range, you can talk to them, and they can give you healing items, materials, and if your lucky high tier guns. For some of them, you can also buy stuff from them by looking left and right to go through the menu. If you want to be evil, line up your shots and start unloading! Kill the NPC and get a low-tier weapon and some ammo for it.
mythic bosses and henchmen
Some POI's on the map will have music in them, this means that a mythic boss and its henchmen are around somewhere. These are extremely hectic drop spots but can give high-tier loot if you can let others kill everything and attempt to make it out alive by killing the mythic boss and their henchmen and get the mythic weapon. These mythic guns are a higher damage, sometimes different take on regular weapons you can get already. Watch out, be prepared, and stay alert, danger will always be around the corner in these areas.
healing NPC's
If you find an NPC doing an emote, walk up to it and hit e near it to start dancing with it! They will chug splash you. Let it use chug splashes on you until it stops, and then either kill it or just turn around and walk away. These are a great way to heal up when you can't use any more consumables, or you couldn't find any way.
Note: Do not, under any circumstance, pickaxe any NPC, mythic boss, henchmen, or healing NPC. They have massive amounts of health and shield, and you will not be able to kill it very easily with only a pickaxe. Either have a gun and prepare to fight or be friendly.
And that's the basic gist of Fortnite! I wish you good luck, but you can practice by either playing many many matches or by joining my creative maps! Contact me on Discord and I can invite you to my game to let you practice against other blind people! My Discord is "GreenBeanGravy#4553".

Windows 11 Home Edition: Bypass Microsoft Account Requirement (How To)
Hello, and welcome to my first article.
Today I'll teach y'all how to completely bypass Microsoft account requirement on Windows 11 Home Edition.
A lot of you were trying to do it by different methods like turning off the network, entering a wrong account, etc but you couldn't succeed, so here's how:
1. Start the Windows installer and install it like you normally would;
2. Complete all the setup steps till you get to the Microsoft account requirement;
3. When you're in the Microsoft account requirement window, open CMD by pressing Shift+F10;
4. In the window that pops up, type the following command: taskkill /F /IM oobenetworkconnectionflow.exe
5. Type exit after you see the success message, and now you'll see that you're asked for a name for the computer instead.
If you preffer using the Task Manager window instead, you can do the same steps, but instead of the command mentioned above, type taskmgr and press enter. The Task Manager window will pop up. Search for oobeNetworkConnectionFlow and end its task.
Hope I helped someone.
Good day, stay safe!
Android Apps now Available in Windows 11 (How to Download and Install)
Hi again, welcome to my 2nd article.
Today we're going to talk about the Android Apps which are available for use starting today for the Windows 11 Insiders in the Beta Channel. In this article I'm gonna show you the requirements and how to download and install Android Apps.
Requirements
1. Your PC has to be enrolled in the Beta Channel of the Windows Insider Program and at least on version 22000.282
2. You need to enable virtualization for your PC’s BIOS/UEFI.
3. Make sure you've got the latest version of the Microsoft Store. You can check for updates for Store by going to Library and clicking the Get updates button.
4. Your PC's region must be set to the U.S.
5. You will also need to have a U.S. based Amazon account to use the Amazon Appstore.
How to enable virtualization on your PC
First of all check more info about this topic on the official Microsoft website by visiting the following link:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/window … -installed
Click on the Search Box and type there windows features. Click on Turn Windows features on or off. In the window that appears make sure to enable Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform (if needed).
After that click on OK and your computer will most likely need to restart for the changes to take effect.
How to set Windows region to US
Click on the Search Box and type Settings. In the Settings app search for region and click on Region settings. Make sure that on Country or region, United States is selected.
Download Windows Subsystem for Android
you'll need to download the Windows Subsystem for Android. Visit this link to download from the official Microsoft Page:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/windo … rementstab
or if this doesn’t work, follow the next steps.
Copy the link above and go to store.rg-adguard.net, paste the link there and click on the checkmark.
From the list loaded download the last link, which is Windows Subsystem for Android.msixbundle.
After you downloaded the file, click on the Search Box and type powershell. Open the context menu on Windows Powershell and click on Run as administrator.
In Windows Powershell, you will need to copy and paste the following command. Make sure to change the location of the file in your case:

How to Sideload Android Apps in Windows 11 (Step by Step)
Welcome to another Windows 11 article.
In this article, I'll show you how to sideload Android Apps in Windows 11 using the Platform Tools from Android and the Windows Subsystem for Android.
With the Android Apps support in Windows 11 being at the very beginning, we can only install up to 50 apps through the Amazon Appstore. So if we want to install other third party apps, we can sideload those apps using their apks.
Please note that, with this method, you'll be able to install apps on all Windows 11 copies, regardless if your PC is supported or if you're in the Beta channel.
What you need
1. Windows Subsystem for Android. Check this article on how to download and install the program in Windows 11: https://forum.audiogames.net/topic/4259 … d-install/
2. SDK Platform-Tools that include adb, fastboot and systrace: https://developer.android.com/studio/re … form-tools
3. Android Apps apks. I'd recomend downloading them from apkmirror.com
How to setup
Download the Windows Subsystem for Android, SDK Platform-Tools and the Android App apk that you wanna install.
In the Windows Subsystem for Android make sure you've got Developer mode enabled.
After that click on Manage developer settings and make sure you've also got Wireless debugging enabled.
Next to IP address click on Refresh if you can't see the IP address and then click on Copy to copy the IP address to your clipboard.
After you extracted the SDK Platform-Tools, you'll need to open CMD as administrator in that location. (you can also use Powershell, but the commands will be slightly different)
Click on the Search Box and type cmd. Right click on CMD and click on Run as administrator. In CMD run the following command:
cd <location of the platform-tools folder>
You can get the location of the Platform Tools folder, by going to it and copying the location from the address bar in the File Explorer.
Now you'll need to type in CMD the following command (make sure to change the IP address with yours):
adb connect 1.1.1.1
Now you're connected to that IP address using adb.
Move the apk file into the Platform Tools folder. Copy the name of the apk file and in CMD type the following command:
adb install <name.extension>
After you run the command, you should receive a success message.
Now the application is installed and you can use it in Windows 11.
Automate APK Installation
To automate the process, we'll create a script in the location where we have the Platform Tools extracted.
Just open a text editor and type in it the following lines:
adb connect <your ip address>
adb install %1
Save the file in the location where you extracted the Platform Tools with the extension .bat.
When you wanna install a certain .apk file, make sure you've got the Windows Subsystem for Android opened. Just right click on the apk file and then click on Open with.
Select Always use this app to open .apk files and then click on Look for another app on this PC. Select the script that we’ve just created.
Now, everytime you run an .apk file, the Android App will be automatically installed.
Enjoy!
How to Install Android Subsystem with Google Play Store on Windows 11!
Welcome to another WSA article, where I'll show y'all how you can get Google Play Store, and other Google-related apps on your WSA copy.
First of all, if you've got any other version of WSA installed, you'll have to uninstall it completely, as we'll use another one that was modified to allow the GApps Project to properly run. Note that when you uninstall it, all your apps will be gone, so make sure you back them up first.
If you don't have WSA installed yet, don't worry, I'll start from the beginning.
Also please note that you're doing this totally on your risk, I won't be responssible for anything. I can assure you that this method worked for me and my friends that I tested it with.
First off, you'll need to turn on Developer Mode on your Windows 11 machine. Here's how:
1. Open the start menu and type Developer, you'll see an option popping up called Developer Settings. Press enter on that one.
2. Just make sure you turn on the "Install apps from any source, including loose files" option.
Now, with your Developer Mode turned on, we'll start downloading things.
Let's first download the WSA package that we'll use for this process:
WSA(mirrors):
https://easyupload.io/qjs1kf
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Sq57cx … 3/download
https://www.mediafire.com/file/k344j98t … y.zip/file
After you see it downloaded, extract it wherever you want and make sure all its files are there in a folder.
Extracted? Great! Now, go ahead and download the kernel that we'll have to use for the GApps to work.
Kernel(Mirrors):
https://easyupload.io/r42y13
https://github.com/ADeltaX/WSAGAScript/ … isc/kernel
https://www.mediafire.com/file/gdh8au8b … ernel/file
Yes, I know it has no extenssion, but that's exactly what we need.
After downloading the kernel, go into the Tools folder of your extracted WSA package, and replace the kernel already there with the one you downloaded.
All right. Now, let's start installing things up.
First of all, WSA.
1. Open the PowerShell as administrator.
2. Cd to the location where you have extracted the WSA package earlier and replaced the kernel.
3. Copy the following command and paste it:
Add-AppxPackage -Register .\AppxManifest.xml
Press enter and watch the magic, your WSA package will be installed and ready to be used.
Now, open the subsystem and turn on the screen reader, then turn on Developer Mode there as well, and click Manage Developer Settings to turn on the emulator.
You'll see notifications from Google Play Protect telling you that it has been turned on to scan apps.
Now, let me give you a little bonus for reading till here: How to get root acces to the WSA emulator!
Yes, you heard it right! The package and kernel we used, allows us to get root access as well, so copy the IP address of the emulator, open CMD and head over to the ADB Platform Tools folder so that you can properly use ADB on your machine.
Now, type the following commands:
adb connect 1.1.1.1 (make sure to replace this IP with the one you copied, of course.)
If you get a failed to authenticate error, don't worry, it's a known bug that will probably be fixed in WSA's future updates.
To make sure that everything worked as expected, type:
adb devices
You'll see the IP you copied there in the device list, this meaning that your emulator is ready to respond to your ADB commands.
Now, type:
adb shell
su
You'll see that you have root access now!
In case you can't sign in to Google Play Store, get root access and write:
setenforce 0
Now, sign in and enjoy!
A quick start guide on playing games on Linux
Introduction:
With the uptick in blind and visually impaired persons making the switch to Linux, there are bound to be a few who would like to play some popular audiogames, such as Sketchbook Your world, Golden Crayon, and others. Unfortunately, it may not be as easy to get information on configuring your computer to play them, with wine and others. This will be a quick guide on getting you equipped for playing BGT games specifically, within a .zip archive.
What Do You Need and some info going forward?
First thing first, this guide was written from the perspective of someone using Linux Mint, however, the process shouldn't be too different on other Ubuntu based distros.
Secondly, of course, you'll need an internet connection in order to install the dependencies, wine and your game itself!
Thirdly, We'll be using the terminal for this, but have no fear, I'll write down the commands for you. Simply copy them by going to the beginning of the line, and hitting shift+down arrow. CTRL+Shift V will paste it in the terminal.
And lastly, we'll be using Sketchbook your World, which you can get at ims-productions.com/sbyw.php
Now onto the process.
Getting Wine.
Wine is most important to this process. Wine allows you to run windows executables on linux by converting windows system calls to linux ones to grossly undersimplify. If you're interested on looking up how wine works exactly, there are many resources on the internet. We're not going to go too deep into that here.
Firstly, fire up your Linux Terminal, by pressing ctrl+alt T.
Next, type
sudo apt install wine32
Apt is a linux package manager that will fetch all the dependencies for you. The terminal will prompt you to enter your password, do so, hit enter, and then the y key to continue the download. If you use wine64, you may end up getting errors, so its best to use wine32 and be done with it.
It will take a while to download, depending on your speed, so sit back, get a cup of lemonade and be patient.
Installing Winetricks.
Now that's done, get Winetricks. Winetricks will be used for installing the SAPI dependencies and libs, which will allow your games to output to you.
The process is much the same as getting wine, however you replace wine32 with winetricks.
sudo apt install winetricks
So again, enter your password, enter the letter y to continue, and then wait.
OK, How Do We Make The Thing Talk!
Now you'll have to fetch the speech SDK. The speechsdk will allow SAPI to work correctly. Instead of using apt, you'll have to use winetricks.
Again in terminal type:
winetricks -q speechsdk
Again, hang back and wait for it to complete the instilation process.
Finishing Touches And Actually Launching The Game!
You're almost ready to log on to your game of choice, you're just a few steps away.
1. Our first job, asuming you haven't done so already is to extract the archive of the game. In this case SBYW. If you have already done so, navigate to the next section of this guide.
1.1. Navigate to the directory where the game is stored, in my case Downloads.
cd Downloads
1.2. Extract the folder. You can either extract it right there in the downloads folder, however SBYW will just extract all the files into your downloads, making it a cluttered mess. The next point, I'll show you how you can make a folder to extract your games to, but if you're just lazy and wanna extract it here simply type
unzip SBYW.zip
1.2.1. Go to your home directory by typing
cd ~/
to create the folder, type in the following
mkdir games
Games being the name of the folder.
1.2.3. Go to where SBYW or your game of choice's zip archive is located and type the following to extract SBYW or your game of choice to the games folder we just created.
unzip SBYW.zip -d ~/games
Now the sbyw files will be extracted to that folder. If you wish you can also create a special folder in the games folder specifically for sbyw by following the steps above, and add /sbyw or whatever you name the folder after games. Example:
unzip SBYW.zip -d ~/games/sbyw
2. Actually running the thing.
now that you've successfully unzipped your game, its time to run it!
2.1. Navigate to where the executable is stored by using cd, as shown above.
2.2. Simply, type
wine sbyw.exe
This also goes for any game you want to run. Simply replace sbyw.exe with the file name of choice.
3. SBYW specific
You're more or less done! Congratulations! You're now able to play your windows games just fine. The only caviot is the fact the game must have sapi support in order for you to know what's going on. But going forward I'm going to help you set up SBYW, since its quite a bit involved.
3.1. Running the game for the first time, you'll be required to download the sounds. Your screenreader, at least in my testing, will not report the prompt, however simply hit enter to begin. You should hear a beeping tone. That means the download is in progress. Wait a little. Once it has stopped, that means the downloader has completed grabbing the sounds. The next step is to compile the sounds.dat file. Hit enter, again and it should continue.
3.2. Now the game should launch. SAPI is not configured by default like some other games, however the process of enabling it is not at all difficult.
3.2.1. Hit the letter P to get to the preferences menu.
3.2.2. Hit alt+P and hit S. From there SAPI should be enabled.
And you're done! SBYW is now configured, and you should not only be able to play and run windows games and programmes, but hopefully this has made you slightly more skilled at using Linux! Thank you very much for reading!

How to Get Tabs in File Explorer in Windows 11
Hi everyone, welcome to another article.
In this article, I will show you how to get the Tabs in the Windows 11 File Explorer. This is a feature that is highly requested by a lot of users and until Microsoft implements it by default, we can use third-party apps that will do that for us.
The tab feature in Windows would drastically improve productivity and efficiency, as switching and finding certain File Explorer locations would be much easier.
Files – File Manager for Windows is a third-party app that can be downloaded through the Microsoft Store and will bring you a cleaner File Explorer look with tabs.
Download Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/files … ghp3dx8hdx
After you install the app, make sure to open it and then pin it to the taskbar, so you can use it instead of the Default File Explorer from Windows 11.
Compared to the Default File Explorer from Windows 11, this app:
- organizes the sections as widgets, so you can easily enable or disable sections from the app that you don’t use or you don’t find useful;
- makes the file explorer less laggy and more easier to find, with some more accessibility added;
- a lot more that I'll let you discover!
In my opinion, this app is really useful for the general Windows 11 user and will increase productivity.
Enjoy, and let me know in the discussion forum below what you think about this app:
